These videos should also include where and how to use wax on the components. Directions for waxing are not included with the printed instructions either. Thanks!
David Jurgens mine didn’t come with its wax! I had to use a spare candle! Put it on the gears. It helps reduce friction on the moving parts that touch.
I am surprised by the similarities with UGEARS thought Robotime is older. Also I am surprised UGEARS claims they have patented joints. Checking out Robotime it is questionable what is possible to patented. This spring is identical. Please, Robotime, could clear this to me? I am just an amateur. Thanks, and respect to both companies for their job.
Are there any special waxes or lubricants when assembling the "flying ship"? Elsewhere to be noted ... What materials should I use for waxes and lubricants? Thank you very much.
No wax included. Inside spring does not set right, and pushed loose gears out of place. After painstakingly taking apart the model to re-set the spring, coiling it led to the key handhold snapping and the spring pushing everything out of place yet again. Figured if the spring wouldn’t work I could at least try to take it apart so it looks alright on display, but the triplay is too fragile and the mast of the zeppelin snapped. Took me about 6 hrs for a end product of literal trash. Save your money.
I've got all the gears in place, and everything is fine when I spin it from the wheels. However, when I turn the key, the mechanism doesn't work at all. Any suggestion?
Unfortunately this product doesn't work as advertised. The gears don't even spin together and I'm having a lot of trouble putting it to work. I wouldn't purchase this again and wouldn't recommend. I wish I could have my money back. The gears don't even move and all of this hard work for nothing. At least I'd be happy with perhaps a replacement.
@@lowdyonisos5859 doesn't matter because this company does not seem to care about users and there's a lot of fake reviews on there products. I physically cannot assemble mine because the pieces are so far off of where they need to be I would break several pieces trying to force it into place
Seems to be a scam company that only cares about money because quite frankly mine will not go together as shown in the video several parts are misaligned and I will snap other parts if I try and force them into place because wood cannot bend as much as I needed to
