It's pretty wild that this show goes after the media for being biased, when the media is in fact heavily biased- for the side that this show is on.

I just noticed the critical difference between Robin Hood and Robyn Hood. It was at 08:14 when you were talking about: "Maybe we should get a job and be able to pay for meds said nobody." As much as they're trying to make Robyn and the Sherwood residents out to be victims, there is an extensive social safety net in Canada. It means that there are able-bodied and mentally fit people who can live their entire lives without ever needing a job to survive. This is in sharp contradistinction to the life and times of the actual Robin Hood when there was no social safety net. If people couldn't pay taxes that were higher than any income they had, they were put into debtors' prison. If they couldn't find food, they starved. It's because Robyn and her fellow residents have the option of getting jobs (yes, I know she found one and good for her), but prefer committing crimes is why this adaptation fails to establish their true victimhood. OR is it ever stated that they've all tried to look for jobs and racist store owners and HR managers won't hire them? I hope that has been said because otherwise it just makes Robyn et al look like they don't feel like working and have no qualms about breaking the law to get what they want. This is not endearing. Angry cop lady seems to be another version of Reva and Guyladriel. The difference is that those women were supposed to be good guys and ACL isn't. But she has power, and according to feminists and Rachel Zegler, power is what's important, and women should get it, have it, keep it, use it. (I'm not sure I understood this correctly: 1. Is ACL having an affair with the chief bad guy? Is his name John Prince or John King? 2. Did ACL say/threaten inappropriate sx things to the male police officer of lower rank, who shot Robyn's mom?) And, hooray, Directorsaurus ReX snuck in a shot at another popular target: organized Christian religion with those evil orphanages, which haven't existed in Canada for much longer than ACL has been alive. You know, when the government took over the functions the church used to provide including education and healthcare. The line about the girl who said she built an electronic device at school, but the teachers thought it was a bomb so she got expelled was likely a reference to a situation that happened in 2015 in Texas to a boy named Ahmed Mohamed. If you look up his name and add "clock incident" you can read all about it. It must be Directorsaurus ReX' delightful way of reinforcing how horrible the establishment is to children of colour. Jennifer Salke and Amazon need to hire Director [extra] X [chromosome] and give him one of their unlimited budgets with almost no oversight. We've seen what the little fellow can do when turned loose from the constraints of realism, plausibility, good taste, the usual need to depict ostensible protagonists sympathetically, and, apparently, any desire to build and maintain an audience. But I want to see what he can do when also given obscene amounts of money to put towards his artistic vision. In brief, I want to see if "Robyn Hood" + Amazon's "Lard of the Rangs" = the pure, amazing, heretofore unknown levels of hilarity like I think I might.

Who is paying for the mother's medical bills? The family clearly doesn't have money (as they said in ep 1 none of them have actual jobs and they can barely afford rent). The police department won't just pay you outright and they would need to be sued which can take months if not years to even get them into court The Hood grang can't manage their stolen money and spend it every chance they get

So 4 episodes in and the only bad/wrong thing our "villain" duo have done is the sheriff shtupping her subordinate. On the other hand our "heroes" are not only committing crimes by the minute but also trying their hardest to land a spot on as many "the world's dumbest criminals" videos as they can. Genius, just genius.

This is what happens when you give an IP to twisted woke mind. He views heroes as villains, and villains as heroes. Problem is, he doesn't even understand, the folklore Robin Hood, wasn't even a criminal to begin with, and Prince John was not even a legitimate ruler at that time. The legitimate ruler was King Henry the Lion Heart. But hey, I bet Director X purposely miss that out, because it doesn't suit with his twisted mind.
