Yes but the audi s1 has a better power to weight ratio the dakar audi dakar car is probaly heavear because of the electric motors and because of its dakar suspension.

why is that hilarious? You have the apparent performance benefit of electric motors (especially torque vectoring!) while not having the downside of a heavy battery.
@@tomwallach because its main purpose (of BEVs) is to reduce emissions. But in fact it doesn't work as production of batteries is very pollutive. Plus, Audi finally left the ICE engine inside. So, there's no environmental benefit, only R&D. Second, because electric batteries are way too heavy. See who won the dakar in 23. It was Toyota with ICE. Nuff said
