Roces 5th Element GOTO Skates - Kemuri Grey Skate review - first impressions.
Before I go on with the 5th element skate review, let’s talk a bit about Yuto Goto. He comes from Okayama Japan, yep that’s right the place where the infamous Peach boy, Momotaro is from.
Yuto is the first Japanese inline skater to ever get a pro skate so this skate is special. Roces first released a green 5th element and then this is the second iteration of his pro skate.
He has been ripping up the international scene and before covid hit, he was killing it at the skate competitions. He is one of the most technical skaters out there and the pro skate is well deserved! If you’re not following him on instagram, I suggest you pause this video and follow him now.

The colour scheme on these is sick. I don't have big feet and still had to take out the inner and wear thin socks in my Roces. Looking forward to some more vids in them bud!

I sucks when you have to take out the innersole because they are good for impact.

I got these on pre orders, and have not skated them yet., lol but they are super fit on my feet. smallest size. but what i found out that the screws under the souls was pretty loose, and when i tighten them a bit more, they became to long and dig in to the liner. so need to space them down or cut of the screws a bit.

Good to know. Mine needed tightening but I didn’t do them up super tight. Haven’t felt any poking yet.

Do they make these in size 13. Men's I haven't skated for years. Like to get back in it. I think I had the original pair. But that was like 15 years ago..they look pimp..

Where is it stated the shell is made of recycled plastic.?

All the black plastic is made from recycled plastic and the grey is half cornstarch from what I can see.

Soichiro had two pro Valos well before Roces gave Yuto his models.

Following up on that the yasutokos had a shared pro skate so I dunno if that really counts the K2 Yasutokos Brothers Skate. And I can't believe Chiaki Ito never got a pro pair, well as far as I'm aware. I think he skated for Salomon from what I remember.
