Animation and video by Jean Morel

A small bit of deleted Rock-a-Doodle (of all things) footage came to my attention. Although the “released” sequence contains eagle-eye clues to how it was cut out, the "Skunk Pie sequence"'s already completed animation (and song) were cut because the thought of the cartoon skunk being baked alive was too much for the investors… even though the skunk would have survived anyway. So much so they even hired a child psychologist to tell them what they wanted to hear.
Jean Morel had a hand in animating the pie sequence and uploaded a “cammed-quality” clip of her unused work on Vimeo. Yes, bootleged not by me but by one of the film's own animators. The good news is that Jean has a copy of her work, the bad news is that the rest of her resume examples on Vimeo are “cammed” off of TV and computer screens from varying sources - even RU-vid.
