Imagine if you were playing those single notes in heard in the background throughout the whole song. That would make this the hardest rock band song in a very long time
On Clone Hero (fan made pc clone) someone named ninjapwnsatlife charted the background notes. It makes the solo seem really easy when you've basically been playing that the whole time.
Awesome job! That intro riff is honestly the only thing that makes this devil heads (and the solo) and the fact that HMX don't really have a ton of devil level stuff this time. Amazing job non the less. Nice path too
My highest on this is 208k. I have a One. Is the One version of Rock Band 4 different than PS4? I'm asking since there seems to be a higher score required for gold stars in this video.
No, Rock Band 4 should be identical on PS4 and Xbox One. This video was made on release day back in 2015, so they could have changed the gold star cut off since then. I played this on an Xbox One too btw
+King Koops I normally keep my index on green, and the rest on RYB. I just reach my pinky over for orange for the GR O licks, the only other lick with orange is the G Y O lick, and you have to keep a finger on green for that anyways. Everything else should just be played with 4 fingers on GRYB. Granted I haven't 100% yet but I'm not having a hard time with the opening, just the second half of the solo :P
On the stratocaster, since the solo keys are closer than usual and since my hands are a bit bigger than average, i use my thumb to hold down the green fret and use my other 4 fingers to hit all the others. I know this is kinda cheating but idgaf
I used to have trouble with that part, too. What I do now is I have my index finger constantly switching from G to R, and my middle, ring, and pinky fingers are always on Y, B, & O.
hey just wondering, do you play with the Stratocaster guitar that comes with the bundle? I'm having a real hard time hitting notes I would typically hit.
This is a rather poor chart to me. It basically has bad transitions between the lead and rhythm guitar parts. The intro is good up until it switches to the chord part, but the chorus is the worst of them all. They should've just charted the most prominent lead guitar parts as "Guitar," and then all the other parts as "Bass/Rhythm Guitar."
