Was a lot of fun being Lead Vocal and playing keys with a band on this medley of Johnny B Goode by Chuck Berry, Tutti Frutti by Little Richard and Hound Dog by the King himself Elvis Presley!
This was an end of term Saturday school performance as part of Band Academy in Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford. ACM is amazing, and is where Ed Sheeran studied as well!
Brings me back to the times I was at School of Rock the Musical in the West End - which was all kinds of fun too!

Cole, I was born in 1950 and was brought up listening to those songs. About 4yrs old jiving with older cousins. Mum had a very eclectic taste and Dad played Opera. My 4 boys have been brought up too with an eclectic taste in music. My 30yr old is really into Johnny Cash, Dire Straights, Ed Sheeran, also a bit of Andrea Bocelli. I think it's fantastic you guys played that medley. Very very well too. Keep it up.

It was amazing! So different from the rehearsings you really worked hard on it. I've seen you have problems with the high notes but this was awesome even with that

It was part of the Saturday school course so we get a choice to pick but limited to the Saturday course.

I find it amazing that kids of your age acknowledge the greatness of rock'n roll and adapt to it this well. This music is probably older than even your parents but you have the soul. I admire you. Thanks to all your band. Bravo!
