Husk knife. Based on such advertising, I bought a Husk knife. In fact, I bought three. I don’t use mine. I tried it and went back to my old cheap knives. I gave one away as a gift. It’s not being used. One knife is still in its box after maybe four years? My son gave me a Japanese knife for Christmas three years ago. That’s all I use now. Tell me what I’m going wrong…
I am a Japanese living in Japan. There is an image image that looks like it is made in Japan, but this knife is not made in Japan. As a Japanese person, I felt a sense of incongruity when I saw this knife with a design and texture that Japan does not have in the past or the future. It looks like a traditional Chinese knife, and if you search for it, it seems to be made in China. It's a pity that it's sold as if it were a traditional Japanese knife. It's sad because I like this channel...
Glad I have something to share with my family & friends. Such an interesting video to watch. Nice work! Thanks for the knife link too! I’m getting one, boy I’m excited!
My only question is where's the hospital? People erect these odd ball structures giving nary a thought to the need for possible emergency medical attention!
I’m insanely impressed that he planned and built this place almost entirely by himself. Especially so far from civilization. And the build itself has so much character and natural beauty. I really love it.
Ok, as if both builds weren’t spectacular enough, he just up and says “and here is the bathtub 🛀 “ 😱 This guy built a spectacular oasis in the middle of nowhere on top of a giant granite slab of rock!!! He is a true artist and I absolutely love this build! Cheers
Yea - my mind was already pretty blown by the materials - the mammoth's tooth or whatever that was, and the amethyst rock crystal in the wall, the beautiful black walnut bench / sofa, the soapstone, the rinky dink little ol' stoves. "oh - and here is the Bath Tub" - - jaw just drops. This guy is huge, I absolutely love those glass sections overlooking the mountains, and what he did with the entry door was beautiful. There's just SO much. And then, "And here is the Bath Tub" - lifting a floor panel 😀🤩 . And here's the shower-head - and yep, there it is. Unreal, in the best possible way. Kudos, Mike. You're very gifted, and obviously a real grafter. Shout out to your Mother also - what a wonderful lady, to be there to see you through it all. I hope blessings abound in her life 🙏🌺
@@gracec3418 IKR? This guy is an artistic genius! Everything he created here was beyond beautiful! And he has such a wonderful personality! I have never seen anything like this build before and I am Tiny Home, Van Life, Alternative Home addict! I’ve seen thousands of builds and this one is hands down, no question, the best I’ve seen!!! Cheers
I really thought I'd seen it all when it came to Tiny homes, but this one just blew my socks off, Jenna! This isn't really a tiny home, it's just what he called it: a rock cabin! I love that it is on such a large piece of acreage, so far from population, and so absolutely natural. I grew up in a rock home, and this has solidified my desire to have one again. Thanks so much for sharing this! It was wonderful!
These are remarkable structures! Mike thinks way outside the box and then changes the shape of the box. Beautiful clean lines in all of his projects. You found an extra good one, Jenna. Thanks!
Wow, it’s a masterpiece! Incredible house. I can imagine it in the winter with lots of cozy pillows, blankets, the fire, etc. Heaven . Even the shower design is awesome
Fricking unreal- my favorite vid from your exc channel. This guy is an incredible person- He learned all of this and took his skills to create a truly organic SENSIBLE living situation. 84 acres? NOYCE! By the time he wrapped it up by showing us his SKI LIFT! I was blown away. Very few people have what it takes to put something like this together. Truly inspiring. Kudos to you sir.
Love how the water descends the rocks near the hot tub. So incredibly beautiful and in sync with Mother Nature. Good luck on your next project. I'm sure it'll be awesome.
Some people can accomplish so much with their time. And some of us just struggle to keep up with the day-to-day. It's amazing how varied our life experiences can be.
I'll be honest. I really do prefer watching these unique homes rather than tiny homes. So we'll done for coming up with these. The cave houses are amazing !!
He said "I feel very rich, I have clean water, no one is bothering me and I feel safe. Now that's a stress feel life!! The life I am now looking for as I get older, no one bothering me, feeling safe and no more toxic work environment. Nice home he built. What an oasis he built, he will live a long happy life!
What a magical house he's created, with such an amazing mix of beauty, ingenuity, whimsy, and practicality. I hope we'll be visiting his family home in seven years or so?
With all the snow they’ve had this winter, I hope Mike is ok! 🙂 This is such an incredible work of love. Hard to beat the views, and come on, who has their own personal ski lift!! 🤯🤯
I have seen this place at Tahoe several times now and each time it changes sooo much. It is fantastic. Is the tiny house mobile? Neither the tiny house nor the ski lift were there last time, nor the gf and kids. Sooo amazing.
He said he chases the snow with the tiny home, but at the moment is/was for air/bnb. Don't know why people call them that because in a b&b you're provided with the bed AND the breakfast by the establishment.
@@annwithaplan9766 They call it B & B because you get bed and breakfast...both. Makes total sense. They usually leave food for you to eat while you are there. Pastries or etc.
@@Ivypoison23 I lived in the bay area from 91 to 98. I never actually saw this guys home except on computer. Had a bf who was in the Tahoe area from 96 to current.
My grandfather was a immigrant from italy.he was a master Stone Mason..he built a 2 story all Stone country home,it was amazaing.also built a huge Stone fireplace.all my uncle's,aunts, cousins,we would go to this country home on weekends.very private,we really enjoyed being together..amazing how he chose each round Stone and mortored them into place.it really is a lost art here in the USA...
Very nice❣️ My maternal grandpa's house and extended outdoor living space was this type of masonry, he built himself. 😊 It was my best most peaceful place to be. He had a gorgeous rock garden. 💖
Truly truly stunning and breathtaking are words that I never thought I’d use when it comes to rocks! You’ve created your own piece of heaven here on earth how beautiful and what a great reflection of your life to give to your family as it grows
what an incredible human, love what he has created...memories with his loved ones! The details are so sincere! WOW, I wish they showed it lit up at night, I bet magical is just the beginning ! I some how bet he knew my parents and Skosh, they had a snowboard company in the 70's & 80's. He sure built an amazing place for his family, and plans for more~ So rad!
The house is stunningly original. This guy is a genius. I love everything about it. A Fred Flintstone house for adults. I especially love how he incorporated the rock gifts into the house. The camping trailer BnB is a nice side business.
How useful he makes his time and energy❣️ How connected he is to himself, his truth and to nature and to like minded people and how eager he is to live❣️ chapeau
I have not a clue who this man is, but I absolutely love his soul!!! He has a beautiful soul that is in touch with nature and his environment. I love what he has done and the beautiful place that he has created. 💕💕💕
WOW! Absolutely fabtabulous! Ive never seen anything like this. Definetly one of a kind. Your entire home is amazing, but MY favorite part is the hot tub. How you have the water just fall into the other parts is like an amazing dream. Thank you so much for letting us into your wonderful home. Be safe, stay well and God bless you and your family.
I love the Birthday Sundial feature. Something that anyone can do. 3:20PM, March 28th, you can bet I’ll be implanting a mark point in my floor, maybe a gold coin, with crosshairs made of iron within the window frame.
OH, MAN, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOUR CABIN!!! YOU AND YOUR FAMILY MUST BE SO HAPPY TO LIVE IN THIS ENVIRONMENT! TALK ABOUT BACK TO NATURE!!!! AND, OF COURSE, YOU'RE A SCORPIO! i CAN SEE THAT IN THE BUILD! JUST PERFECT! That shower is out of this world. And I love that loft! And that deck is humungus!!!! Sounds like you use the bubble wrap for insulation. Wow how innovative is that!?! And all that wood is just incredible! Thanks for showing us your beautiful home. Do you get much wildlife out where you live? I would imagine so. Looks like you have built paradise. Congratulations on such a beautiful job!
"My Lady...". 😁 I wish that they would have played England Dan and John Ford Coley for the music!😂👍😁 On a serious note, his place is truly flippin' amazing!!! My mind was blown!!!😳👍💓
And this view out his windows is something u expect on a poster I love his natural basic look no fancy gadgets or decor all natural looks so cozy most creative tiny home I've ever seen ❤💕it
What a challenge. It’s absolutely a beautiful work of Art. A man has to have a lot of patience to challenge this dream of his. I Congratulate you young man. And good luck with your new venture coming up. I’m sure it will be a most beautiful Masterpiece. 😉 Keep us posted and thank you for sharing your most pride & Joy and your Dreams Too. 😉
Wow....what an incredible home...it's a credit to a great deal of hard work...and that certainly pays off...to have a truly unique home. Very well loved and we'll worth it all.. 😊👍😉🏘️
