She is wrong about the release date of this game, but actually it is due to Sands of time that the unrealistic wallrunning is in the newer games as well. They were just too iconic to make them more realistic.
Prince of persia the sands of time had a bit more realistic looking wall run than this game, many climbing moves in this game seems unrealistic campared to the POP SOT,WW, TT
Despite her saying 2003 at 3:08 , I am extra impressed because that means she's referencing Sands of Time. She's an OG. Sands of Time is what got me into parkour. I got the logo tattooed on my arm. Now I teach parkour professionally. Natalie rocks.
"You know sometimes I wonder why the Prince doesnt just walk on the ground in some cases" *sees sand creatures waiting for the Prince on the ground floor* "OH. THATS WHY" Me: *cracks up*
I played the sands of time trilogy never tried this one but Im not complaining, it would be pretty cool to actually see her or the parkour experts react to the other PoP games :)
She's so cool. I feel like if there was a Gameology video game where the main cast is every guest here, she would be the commander of the other parkour folks, with the highest stats
I don't know much about climbing, but I can tell you I finish the POP games in like 2-3 days each. with some sleepless hours. I was so fascinated by these games, and the AC series that followed it.
I grew up playing Prince of Persia SOT on Xbox ❤️! The powers, the challenging combat scenarios, the puzzles… excellent game and that goes for the sequels. The sequels were…. Chefs Kiss!!!
@@Poppasgottabrandnewbagofcrack EVERY assassin's creed is long and boring. The concept and characters are all good but they made the gameplay very long and repetitive and cutscenes are not good. Assassin's creed was not a good replacement for prince of persia
@@DragonOfTheMortalKombat yup you have to ride on a horse for around 5-10mins to reach to a destination and then another 5-10mins to return. Disgusting
@@jetstream9990 But most importantly their lifeless robotic characters and playable non cinematic cutscenes. Assassin's creed could have been better as it has some good concept but 'time saver' packs ? What was ubisoft thinking. They have the most creative ways for making money.
Maybe the upcoming remake for Sands of Time will put it back in the spotlight somewhat. It was a very underappreciated series it was big when Sands of Time dropped but after that it started to fizzle out with every next entry. It's sad because imo the series was never bad Warrior Within is different but fun & good, even the reboot was good. That's why I was really thankful for Assassin's Creed being a thing back when it had parkour based on PoP and not whatever simplified parkour they have in the new games. There's no other games that really have movement systems like this besides a few first person parkour games like Mirror's Edge and Dying Light. We need more games with cool & fun movement.
I think prince of persia 2007-2008 game would be interesting to see her react to, it takes a bit more of a trapeze approach to the parkore with the utilization of
She's the best one to react to any of these games by far! I love her enthusiasm. That and the fact she acknowledge's it's just a video game for entertainment purposes. No idea why that bugs me when ppl have to point out the absurdity of the impractical in a video game 😂.
"I don't think they take into account the fatigue your forearms would be feeling" Has she not played games before? Every video game ever made that allows that kind of move is like that. Hitman and Tomb Raider in particular come to mind. And fair enough, because it would be a huge pain and not very fun if you got fatigued and just fell to your death after a realistic amount of time. I wish I had a good wall to practice this move on so I could see how long I'd last. I try to hang from pullup bars every day, sometimes a few times throughout the day as Ido Portal recommends.
do a vid of her reacting to Assassins creed unity parkour that makes alot of sense since the parkour in that game was like none of the others in the AC franchise and looks the best.Idk why yall decided to have her react to origins parkour of all ACs in the first place that games parkour is just parkour at its basic, nothing as cool looking/flashy/interesting looking like Unitys parkour. But i digress i just ask you have her react to unity parkour (btw i like origins ik it sounded like i didnt but i promise you i do)
Prince of Persia The Sands of Time (2003) was one of the very first games to introduce parkour and time rewind powers in a video game. The one in this video is Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands (2010), it did nothing new but it was alright I guess.
I like her, her personality works well for this channel. She didn’t hate on the game, just stated straight facts. She didn’t get all “yo this is terrible, it’s so unrealistic” 👍🏼
I'd love to see her laugh at Far Cry 4. I end up carrying thousands not rounds, multiple magazines, 4 guns (some of them up to 20lbs individually), and climbing up a rope.
Ahhh yes Prince of Persia! This is my childhood! well.. Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and Two Thrones lol this one is ok but I would love to see her react to some of the acrobatic stuff in those games cuz this game doesn't quite do the old ones justice in the way it looks. it was a different feel and the old games are where such moves shined I feel like
Has Natalie done a reaction to Infamous 1 and 2? Her mention of using a foot for weight distribution on ledges reminds me of Cole's method of climbing. I think a more accurate lache swing would be Monkey's from Enslaved. Though the speed at which he climbs is ridiculously fast.
You can judge all you want today but you know you enjoyed the shit outta this game when it came out. Damn those were the days when games actually used to be tough and doing missions actually meant something as some of them were really tough ( not this one but a lot of tough games came from this era ). I don't hate today's games but most of them care just about graphics and are very easy to play which makes them less fun. Not hating on her though , she reviewed it well.
Ok This isn't the game from 2003 the game was the first to do this moves named prince of persia the sand of time it was magnificent This game named the forbidden sand released 2010 and is the fifth installment of the game after sands of time, warrior within, the two thrones , prince of persia ... and then the forgotten sand
