Every year Thanksgiving weekend we have one of the biggest rides of the year. This event is called RBD for Ricky Berry Day. The event is held at Morris Mountian Offroad park in Helfin Alabama. This was one of the driest events I have ever seen held at Morris Mountain and it made for extremely dusty conditions. The traction was awesome since it was so dry and everyone was crawling everything.

Are some of these rigs running propane fuel? Is there an advantage over gasoline?

not in this video, but some guys run it. Its cheaper than fuel injection and runs pretty good. I prefer Gas over propane though

in older style engines it can be advantageous because you don't have to worry about fuel slosh in the carb. you can also turn it higher when you need more power

Why aren't diesel engines used more often for this?

Diesels are awesome for crawling but they don't have the throttle response and rpm capability of a gas engine so they have their drawbacks. My Yota crawler has a TDI in it and if I need wheel speed I have to anticipate it, select the right gear, and usually slip the clutch a bit to get the boost up before launching it. It works well and I love the setup - but it's not for everyone.

I have a 67 Kaiser I'll take$1,800 cash I'm not a professional mechanic the old Jeep runs but has not been started in a long time it's got the original oil breather 1 barrel with the v6 dauntless recently rebuilt brand new tires a snow plow canvas top that has never been used canvas door panels two original tailgates Plus I ho rebuild kit of seals and gasketsvery sweet for someone who wants an antique rock crawler
