Rock Fishing In Mallorca For Grouper and Triggerfish

In today's episode I found a nice rocky coast on the island Mallorca in Spain, perfect to do some rock fishing. The ocean was pretty rough and unfortunately I didn't land the nice triggerfish that destroyed my Gulp soft plastic, but I did manage to land a couple of nice groupers.

It's a beautiful island with some very clear water. I didn't catch anything big, but the scenery and these little groupers made for a great day out 👍. Good luck in June 😉

Hi chris im in cala bona 2wks time i have all the gear can you tell me any good rock marks i can fish im not interested in small stuff and shallow water

I don't have a lot of experience catching bigger fish in Mallorca, but this video is shot on Punta de n'amer in Sa Coma, which is close by Cala Bona. This should be a pretty good spot to catch some decent size fish (grouper, triggerfish, barracuda, Amberjack). But on the east coast there should be multiple rocky spots with deep water 👍 Enjoy your trip and I hope you catch something big 🎣💪

Thanks for watching. It is definitely a nice location, very little people and a lot of rocks to fish from. It is in the far East of the island. A long rocky point called "Punta de n'Amer". Bring some decent shoes with you 😉

Good luck, there are some very beautiful places to fish around the island. I used the following setup. Reel: Daiwa Ninja LT 18 Rod: Ultimate Travel Spinning Rod (2.10m). This is a 5 piece rod, perfect for bringing in a backpack on the airplane. Braid: 20 pound
