Rock hopping for Wrasse and Pollock

The intention for this session was to bob around a few rock marks on Anglesey, with light tackle, and search out some of the smaller species. And I achieved just that. A welcome change of pace, no fixed agenda, just a bit of an explore with some bait and sharp hooks.

Great video m8. Its great to also see men talking about mental health in males as its not just a womans issue and great to have men talking about it to hopefully help others. Also some people have no common sense when it comes to the sea nice weather means nothing 🙈 anything can happen. Nice fish and well done on some different species for your list. I feel you, want to fish but I have no energy for it after work even though I have the time, these videos and tying up my rigs as I listen are what keep me going until I get out again. Especially with the weather being so bad up here in the North.. it's genuinely cold, honestly can't believe it's June.

Bit different, but I can tell you enjoyed it pal.I did a few years as a beach lifeguard off east coast... I could tell you stories that would bring your hair back. My pet hate was Teachers huddling skool parties under crumbling cliffs after heavy rain 'to get out of the wind'😅

Cracking day for it Alex. Never understand how people are willing to take a risk with the sea - it takes no prisoners. Seen you use the airlight a few times, looks a great rod but the reel seat looks a really long way up the blank. Is it adjustable?

Darwin comes for folk who takes risks like that. The Airlyte is a great piece of kit. It does have a sliding seat, I had it high as I wanted to get some pictures with the airlyte logo and the reel in one shot. It's moved down into a more comfortable position now

Couple of Mackerel would have been nice to take home. Lovely when they are fresh caught and grilled. Inevitable that you got a doggy though!

Ello 😀 nice bit of mixed fishing. The thing I love about Anglesey is the variety of fish and the choice of venues. Something for everyones taste. Get to know it well enough and in all but the foulest weather there is always somewhere to fish. 🧔 👍

Eh up Alex, you caught some really nice fish , I for one love lrf, just a shame theres not a lot of marks or even piers down the east coast , I'm in Whitby for the weekend soon so I'm taking the light gear, hopefully your feeling better soon mate , maybe that boat trip with the Happy Hooker tipped you over the edge 🤣🤣, take care mate

Hope you are feeling better soon but I have to unsubscribe. I don't like adverts at the best of times but know that You tube force them on us. But usually the main part of the video is good so worth it. Unfortunately your videos have become one big advert at the expense of the content. It doesn't help that you keep pushing Akios stuff. I have used several items of theirs and have never not been disappointed. Sorry mate buyt enough is enough. Take care of yourself and the family.
