Rock Island is a small Tennessee State Park in the middle section of the state. It sits on the cumberland plateau and is at the headwater of Center Hill Lake. The area was mostly dry for many years due to downstream dam repairs, but now has plenty of water. The area is full of history as well including ruins and old mill remnants .
