Not really because if this is your first reaction to this then you don’t have the information that neji reveals during his fight with naruto. With your example you already have the historical context that take place within the film. Everyone knows about the the slavery of African Americans in the US before even watching that movie

Rock lee has chakra, just not enough to actually use it for any other than initiating and deactivating the 8 gates but you don’t have to worry about such things yet.

one detail that not many people know is that the rotating arena is cgi. what makes this more impressive is that, its early 2k cgi, that looks miles better than most cgi animes from today.

Naruto basically almost got Hinata killed. I'll say this about my boy Neji, he was right. He knew he was stronger and knew if she kept fighting she might be fatally injured. This is a ninja fight, not a sparring match. So he told her to withdraw. She kept coming at him. I dont think he is to blame. Lol

True. One of the few times in anime where "never give up" is the wrong choice. Although he definitely didn't mind killing her. You know he could have won the fight without dealing mortal blows. Dude, they are cousins and she is innocent. Neiji was taking his anger of the head family on her.

If you actually have seen all of naruto you understand this fight was not about her winning narrative wise ....it never was written that way....she is suppose to lose to fit the narrative better than if she won..she's suppose to be an underdog so her beating neji proves nothing for her character as neither would giving up before she started or early on....she still got her point across...and neji was talking about himself the entire time which he will regret and naruto just responded like he should like you knew he would in the heat of the moment cause he felt the same way and wanted to encourage her when she needed it...this fight was more about what was being felt and said than the action....neji words got to naruto he felt like he was in her shoes being bullied told to give up and wanted her to prove him wrong

@@LawJace I feel bad for you ladies...don't get your hopes up much....this show does not do its females justice fight wise really at all..theres a few moments but thats it...they hype hinata up here and she basically doesn't fight anyone else one on one the rest of the manga....even in most filler she's pretty much useless fight wise...she doesn't really fight anyone again until the last arc and even then she fights against weak clone minions no one cares about that everyone fights...she tries to fight someone but gets wrecked inbetween...tsunade and chiyo get some moments and sakura gets a big one but thats about it...usually the females are wasted fodder...oh yeah tayuya gets a ok fight but she mostly just used summoning to fight for her so...same for chiyo who uses puppets same for tsunade with her slug...temari gets a couple moments to shine but their very small

Rock lee vs Gaara is my favorite Legendary fight ever made🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 But it Annoyed me that Lee could hit him so much, Gaara used the sand coffin technique on Lee's legs and arms Shattering his bones and ending their fight. Rock Lee was off guard and then Gaara commanded his sand to get rock lee's leg and arm. He squeezed them breaking them and defeats Lee.

Yeah I get surviving maybe three hits of the 5th gate and I mean just barely surviving, the fact that he got launched across the room several times before the final impact of the hidden Lotus and his insides aren't juice is nonsense and it kind of makes it harder for me to believe in in anyone else's strong tie jutsu when we see Lee going above the level that anyone else can reach outside of Guy sensei and having it do jack shit

@@magortom the thing is, sand is amazing to disperse energy. because rock lee strikes are exactly that, strong strikes, you can imagine the damage that actually gets transfered to gaara is alot smaller than it should. its basically like holding a sandbag while someone hits it. you will feel the impact, but it will be minimal at best.

That fight was a fraud man. How did Gaara not only win but at the end of the fight was totally fine and uninjured.

@Doppelganger D personally it still doesn't make sense at all to me because we know that the nine-tailed fox is one of the most powerful spirits in the show even though we don't know what gaara has yet, even Naruto takes time to heal and definitely would have taken a lil while to wake up from a beating like that. Even with the fan Shield the sheer force of those blows should be shattering whatever is inside of it due to the sheer proximity, it's obviously isn't absorbing shock if he's getting launched into the air and then shot back into the ground with enough force to literally shatter it. This was definitely one of those plot points where logic definitely lost too plot convenience. This awesome taijutsu was neutered so that gaara could move forward in the story

I don’t understand, Lee and Gaara fought, Gaara turned out to be stronger, where does such hatred come from? Lee would have finished him off with his move if he hadn't defended himself. Gaara could have killed him much sooner, but he didn't. I understand that Lee is an attractive character, and we wished him victory, but wishing Gaara dead is somehow too much.

@@LawJace it’s not that she doesn’t know what will happen next, you need to see not only the characters and root for them, but observe the overall picture of events, the cause, actions and consequences, for example, in this case, the main asshole is the third Hokage, who allows fights to the death between children . and if you dig even deeper, then the very structure of their world is to blame.when I first watched this fight, I wanted Lee to win, but I didn’t have hatred for Gaara, he just fought, didn’t even try to humiliate anyone, or mock someone’s dreams
