Outstanding A-Smith adds Scotty. I have been living in Boston as you know for a lot of years. I can't say that I ever met anyone with a collection like that. I will surely keep an eye open for the "Back in the Saddle" Mexican single. I have never seen a copy on the east coast. But you never know. Maybe one will pop up in one of the used shops or a record show for under $30. Some nice singles all around. Dig the Thin Lizzy, etc... Thanks for sharing another fine update~ Rob/Boston
Oooh the Sabbath's are KILLER! The Sabbath singles are getting super hard to find, and when I see them they are priced crazy. Love the Japanese Thin Lizzy as well, so cool. My next singles video will likely be just Thin Lizzy and Kiss, I've added quite a bit to the collection from each.
I really likr the sleeve of Jump where they have added the individual faces. Mott the Hoople isn't it ROLL not rock away the stone? I have lately seen a couple of Black Sabbath singles for surprisingly cheap(but not cheap), have not picked them up since i have them as reissues. I haven't collected Queen singles , but i have tried to find It's a Hard Life because it's one of my fave Queen songs and has a great sleeve. No luck so far. Very cool find on Kissin' Time. That I Was Made...is a French pressing. I bought it myself just recently. Looking forward to next part. Pasi
I was at a record show yesterday and I had to stop myself from going down the rabbit hole of starting to collect 7" singles. I can't afford that! Great video.
Hi Scott!!! As i have mentioned in previous videos it's always cool to find foreign presses a must for any vinyl collector..... hope you can find that mexican single (for a faor price thoough.....) cheers and be well
@@neillbickerstaff6671 I’ve heard Sammy is very cool. I love Montrose and some of his solo stuff. Just didn’t care for the direction Van Halen took with him.
Great UFO patch. Sure wish Van Halen would have sounded like a blend of the 1st Montrose and the 1st Van Halen, instead of a song like Jump which I have to shut off immediately. That's funny, when you were describing Roxy Roller I was thinking of the Sweet, and presto, that is what you said. Great crowd pleaser live, at least here in Canada. Saw Sweeny Todd play in my High School. Nice Sabbath 45's, have never seen one of their singles in the wild. Too bad the 45's that had Smokin' on them were not live versions. I wonder if Boston ever put out a live album around their 1st or 2nd album.
Judging by the spelling on "Whisky in the Jar" I'm going to guess that was a single for "The Collection" release that came out on Castle Communications.
I guess with your knowledge of Christian metal you know about "Veni Domine". I'm waiting for the vinyl releases of the first two records I pre-ordered. Grew up on their second album 'Material Sanctuary' as a teenager. Will you get them? // Jimmy from Sweden
