Great analysis! I really, really liked the first release. I'm not a heavy metal girl, but after listening to this a couple times I can't get it out of my head! The technical,, creative, musical content and sound of this was hard driving and intense with great feeling and dynamics. These guys have some great chops!

I've listened to a dozen reactions and landed on yours. We are in agreement and your breakdown was spot on. Like you I noticed the similarities of bands like breaking bengerman, Chevelle, etc. with element's of slipknot and disturbed rolled up in a very original unique sound. And the production was as artistic as the composition. I Loved your review Ill be watching for more

Love Jorge (el estepario real name), he's inspiring musicians all around the World. As you're a Rock singer, have you hear of The Warning? 3 sisters from Mexico, they sing mostly in English, and all 3 of them can sing lead, even the drummer! Yes, she sings awesomely while kicking the sh. out of the drums. And their harmonies are next level. Any song from them will blow your mind, and will make you addicted to them for life. They also have one of the nicest fan base you can dream of, called The Warning Army. Waiting for your reaction to TW, new subscriber here. Cheers from Spain, the land of el estepario!

ye the guitarist/singer also sounds similar to Gavin Rossdale of Bush so that also gives it a familiar feel. But ye the mix is good and each instrument is easily heard WHICH is important for a 3 piece

Love that buffering moment from you when taking in the syncopated breakdown entry!... & thanks for taking the time to explain to us where that came from. If this was the sound you had in your mind 10yrs ago, you were indeed correct that it is *BITCHIN* LOL Between this & the first single, I'm looking forward to buying the album when it appears. I'm a forty-something relic who still likes to buy a CD, so hopefully I can do that. However, I believe they're doing this thing totally indie, so no label to manufacture & ship CDs & vinyl. If that's the case I'd accept a $20 card payment for a WAV-quality download or whatever.... is BandCamp still a thing?! I'm with you re. not hearing much new music over the last couple of years that's really grabbed me. It's been a while since I bought a copy of Jinjer's excellent "Wallflowers"! If you're not already familiar with Jinjer btw, I can recommend a sensible reaction vid path to follow for them. Everyone who enjoys heavier music should experience the Jinjer! :) Anyhoo.... great, fun, thoughtful, reaction / analysis vid. @@PhilZero Excellent! :) 1) Entry point for the uninitiated should always be the "studio live" of their single Pisces: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SQNtGoM3FVU.html The label were naughty, & took the (unnecessary) decision to mix in some of Tatiana's vocals from the stems of the album recordings to thicken a few parts of the studio session later in the song, but still titled it "Live Session". Don't let that put you off tho! Despite that dodgy decision from the label, this blew up for them & got their numbers up in a hurry. I'm sure you'll see why there are hundreds of reaction vids from all sorts of people to this vid. 2) Second, I'd go for the excellently engineered Wacken appearance (nobody does better live mixes than ze Germans!) of them doing Perennial: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bxi3i9wzQBk.html This will show you what they do live, & dispel any concerns about Tatiana's vocal abilities. Bear in mind this is the last song of the set- check the energy & stage prescence. ;) 3) Third, I'll go with the OMV of single Vortex: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AiaOSGZTwtY.html This is from their last album Wallflowers. The drummer Vlad (who is a classically trained pianist to trade) wrote ~90% of the music for this album, & I *love* this thru-composed (cos who needs choruses, that's why!) song- there is much more of a playing with dynamics & textures over 2 or 3 motifs kinda thing going on here, much more like classical composition than standard rock/metal structure.... & I am 100% here for it! Also, if you get to the end of that reaction vid & you're confounded as to how a single-guitarist band can sound so HUGE, feel free to check out the bass playthrough vid Eugene uploaded for it- it's a 5-string drop-A #MasterClass.... *all* the techniques, both-hands-always-busy, yet always tasteful & in service to the piece. He's my favourite bassist out there doing the thing right now. You'll get a deluge of requests for plenty other worthy Jinjer tracks before you have a chance to even cover these 3 anyway, so I'll leave it there. Hopefully you enjoy your Jinjer journey as much as I have. :)

Just a heads up that The Cost dropped their 3rd song a few days ago! Title is "Her Eyes" and they collaborated on it with Serj Tankian. I hope we get a chance to hear your thoughts on it. Which isn't to say that i'm not loving The Warning reactions, because I am. Just like I enjoyed the Sum 41 video and likely any other band you decide to react to, but if you can find time to revisit The Cost that would be fantastic.
