Tarja is always that energetic on stage. I'm always impressed how somone can jump and run around in heels like that. She even broke the heel of a shoe once and continued to dance and jump on bare feet afterwards. 😆

Tarja has operatic music education, she also has her classical concerts with symphonic orchestra where she performing also classical songs and opera arias.

I loved your reaction. you have a new subscriber! There are many people who say that Tarja always sings the same but that is because they do not know her. In each new cd she demonstrates the variety that she can have. She can sing house of wax (totally out of her classic training) and mein herr marquis (the opposite) and make it wonderful !!!

Recommend Tarja singing 'Supremacy' and a heavy song 'Crimson Deep' from her Act 1 Live shows. She also sings 'Over the hills and far away' with Floor!

I just love Tarja and also the era of Nightwish with her. One of the songs I like the most is “Swanheart” (live, “From wishes to eternity” concert)

Tarja has greats achievements and songs in her solo career. Not only on hard rock styles but in classical as well. She has 15 years of career. Try to watch In for a Kill or Into the Sun from Act 1 dvd, or Undertaken from Act 2 or Swanheart, O mio Bambino Caro, Herr Marquis and The Reign from Beauty and The Beat dvd, and of course hundreds of life performance all over the world.

Tarja has a very versatile solo career everything from these heavy rock songs to classical and christmas songs. I think you could appreciate her song/video "Ave Maria" Paolo Tosti from her album "Ave Maria En Plein Air.
