Brilliant.....all those important little nuances captured to make it perfect. Jake using a Tele for that trebly sound, Con using a pick on the bass, the sampling done on the keys for the "jet fighters" and the other whistles, the drums with a bit of reverb......all this attention to detail is what makes HSCC stand out at the top of their craft. Fantastic. This brings back so many memories of the 70s. All Lost in the Supermarket is another Clash classic that Danny could do. But who could forget the Sex Pistols on a barge on the Thames in 1977 for the Queen's Jubilee celebration singing God Save the Queen ( we mean it maaaaaamm). Looking forward to your Sydney gigs
I had the Clash's 'Combat Rock' cassette way back in high school when it was first released, just for a change of pace. 'Should I Stay or Should I Go' was the other hit from the album. 'Sean Flynn' is a beautifully ethereal tune that shifts the mood,...it's hypnotic & definitely worth a listen; the original short version is best, IMO. I think it's cool that a recording location was found that matches Con's guitar, ha. Well done, all! 👍
Holy Crap! Danny is the ultimate vocal chameleon! Props to the rest of the band too. Tight as hell! Con is getting a real workout with his picking hand!
This is great I had to send my daughter this she was watching this video on MTV little did she know she started to stand up and rock to the music and that was the very first time she stood up Good Times I like the remake thanks I sent this to her put a smile on her face❤❤

The CLASH my favourite band of all time I would be very critical of covers., But my god how well you got it with the gritty Joe strummer sound ❤ Band fabulous absolutely fabulous

They were in great company on the charts, with Men at Work, Michael Jackson, Don Henley, Mavin Gaye, Toto in the same week. Combat Rock was a great release, and you have done a wonderful rendition of this song. There is something special about 1982 in music.

I was never a huge fan of that song . BUT as usual Danny and Con and the rest of that ridiculously talented band have hit another home run. And this one may just land on the moon.
Wow, Danny!! The Clash can sing it however they wish-that's their iconic right. But for you, who have demonstrated your musical skill, to imitate those microtonal variants and sing not 100% on tonal pitch-that's pretty doggone amazing! It's a lot harder than most people think.
