This video is my introduction to him, I’m a new fan. Incredible vocal delivery and great stage presence. It feels like he perfects the fundamentals of singing rather than popping the crowd with flashy tricks. It’s a voice you can never get tired of.

One of your best to date HSCC. The impact that this cover had on me this morning was overwhelming, filled me with emotion and happiness....not easy to do. From start to finish this cover was flawless. The sampling of the silly sounds at the start were spot on. Instrumentally a tricky song to get right, lots of layers, starts and stops but you guys nailed it 100%. Vocals by Danny were incredible as always as were the backing vocals. My sincere compliments to you all, you really are world class musicians and masters of your craft.

True story. Paul McCartney met up with John Lennon in New York. Paul invited John to his concert. John declined saying “ all you do is sing silly love songs”. In response Paul wrote this worldwide smash. Great job guys really enjoyed it. Big love from the UK❤

Smashed it, HSCC! I love that song. One of Wings best. The mix is stellar, with Con’s bass front and centre as it should be. Horns are awesome, Danny’s vocal sublime and the harmonies just brilliant.

Yes, great version of this song: I think the bass should be a little louder in the mix (this is a hard-ish bass riff!) but otherwise just great!

Paul, Linda, their kids and the rest of Wings spent several weeks recording in the Nashville area in 1974. My mom who worked in the house they rented got to hang out with them and she still has some cool memorabilia from the stay. Nice job.

@@blueycarlton Thanks for your reply, but I was wondering if anyone “actually” knew the answer. (i.e. my question was directed to the original poster of this thread.) If I had a blank piece of paper, I could’ve put all those characteristics about Nashville. But London is also a great place for music & a lot of good musicians, and a great place to be. If it wasn’t, than the Beatles would’ve left London, to recorded in Nashville, (instead of Abbey Road Studios in London) & L.A. / Capitol records is also vey good with many musicians. & Sun, Studios Memphis where Elvis recorded, etc. & NY there’s also a great place were John Lennon recorded all this work from the 1970s. The reason why I asked is Paul has lived in England I was life (unlike John and Ringo) and the majority of his music work was written and produced in England.

I'll be honest. I was never a huge fan of wings, but I can keep my personal feelings about a song itself separate from the performance and there's zero doubt that this song was done perfectly. I'm just not shocked anymore by the talent, I just look forward to every release with the knowledge it's GOING to be great. No matter what it is. Biggest respect. If this were the 90's I'd say every person here deserves a contract of some kind in the industry, but honestly, in 2023, I'm quite selfishly happy to have them all in this group doing these songs for all of us to enjoy, basically for free in every way. We're damn lucky to have this group.

Think I've listened to this track at least a dozen times and I'm crying - it's joyous. Haven't heard the tune in decades. The vocal harmonies are LUSH. The howlin' horns - just WOW. If all the musicians and singers of HSCC are true artists full of talent, I would like to draw attention to a member of the band who we never see and who nevertheless does a remarkable job and makes each of the band's performances a success : I want to talk about the sound engineer (and his team) who does all the mixing work in post-production. and neither is for the faint of heart, to do well anyway. They absolutely nailed it. I feel like this is a difficult song to get the feel right, like a lot of Black Sabbath songs. They really nailed the original feel in this and you just can’t help but smile.

Danny Lopresto hits another one out of the park, and having Kat Jade and Jordan Lennon as background vocals is a mixture of greatness. The whole band shined on this song, as the horns were awesome, and that bassline Mr. Delo was driving was not missed. Overall, McCartney put many layers into this song, and they were on full display by the HSCC. Great job!

I've been a Beatle's fan since 1965. And also a solo Beatle' fan thereafter. I've never liked cover versions of their material much except Joe cocker & a few others over the years. But I gotta say....WOW. For you to tackle this song in particular & make it faithful to the original, yet put your own stamp on it WOW AGAIN....Congratulations! It's amazing. What a phenomenal cover of this iconic song. Danny's vocal delivery is superb. The brass section is precise and punchy, and Dave on keys is always brilliant yet so unassuming. Special shout out to Brad on drums who negotiates the stops, starts, and groove so skilfully. HSCC, another world-class arrangement and performance.
