If Pink Floyd had existed 100 years ago, this is the sound they would have produced. Only the instruments would be different. It would still have become a classic.
Impossible to be indifferent to Pink Floyd. Fantastic band. Virtuose in maximum degree. It seems like a force of nature. Great performance by the orchestra. My respect of the Brasil. Congratulations
The Pink Floyd's music is perfect played by orchestra. Great execution but better the original. A bit of lack of emotion especially by the vocalists. Emotion and pathos are the basis of Pink Floyd's music.
The vocalist on the right is not suitable for this song. Doesn't matter if they speak English or any language. She sings that like a pop song, overdoing it. Pink Floyd's vocals just need to be simple.
@@parsa_4 You sort of have a point, but, come on ... this song has been interpreted a thousand ways and back again. Just look at it as a cover interpretation; or better still, just keep to watching the original if you don't want to get so bent out of shape. I think the orchestra did a fine job, and even added a few rousing crescendos within to augment their interpretation. You are right in a technical sense, but why try to ruin a fairly good propogation of a classic because of one small element?
Great technique and no emotion. They play and sing like robots. But it is a great video to show how Lloyd Weber plagiarized Echoes to "create" The Phantom of the Opera.
В самом начале композиции фортепиано и арфа сыграли вразнобой знаменитую ноту "Си". И женский вокал здесь неуместен. Лучше бы вокал заменили инструментами.
And the whole time these two vocalists sang they thought they were doing a good job. Little did they know the geese from the next town over would have their heads for not replicating the original vocals as they all knew them to be and were verbally slayed for being "robotic". This frightened the two vocalists, but eventually they learned that it's always much easier to grade someone else's papers. Still, they took the constructive comments to heart and now only sing Welome To The Machine.
I have to say the vocals disappointed, not engaging with the audience and they should have had a male voice with them and this would have been awesome!
