@@Lateralusaint. Thanks, will try that. I didn't want to overfill either as one of the tumbler seemed to have issues with heavier Barrels but now it's just blown anyway. Probably buying a vibratory tumbler next.

@@Rock-N-Stones Hi from Slovenia. I just got my second rotary tumbler, was about to finish my first batch on the old one, and started a new round. The plan is to have 4 tumblers each for one stage. So far I have learned not to mix hardness and don't have the barrel to empty or too full. Nice hobbie.Wish i could pick more material here in nature. Europe is so dull against the USA considering minerals at least on my part and I'm living on top of the biggest closed mercury mine in Europe.(old ocean floor no vulcanos in vicinity :)

@@Lateralusaint. Similar situation here, i'm in Québec and the part i'm in used to be a sea bed. I'm in the old Champlain sea zone. As for the tumblers, i bought two dual barrel tumblers to get started, bought them used at a really low price but one of them already "retired". Current plan is to do Stage 1 and 2 in a rotart tumbler and stage 3 and 4 in a vibratory Tumbler i'm buying in the next few days.
