What a great video. These looked great, I love the ones with the green colors. I run plastic beads in my rotaries, they don't seem to grind down to bad. The plastic beads are horrible to sort away from the stones though. I'm actually doing a load with this stone mixed with petrified wood, like you mine are at about week 16 and probably just ready to move to 120/220. I'll post a video to my channel when finished.

Yeah I have some plastic and used it when I first started tumbling but like you said it can be a pain to sort. I also didn't like how you have to keep plastic grit specific.

polychrome jasper and desert jasper are the exact same rock

nice came out good in the rotary , yes it does look like poly chrome , its a sweet jasper either way

One of the things I read said that desert jasper is just another name for polychrome, if that's true I had no idea they were the same thing lol.

Try running borax with your grit It makes the slurry thick you get more grit contact

That looks like scrap from people who flint nap arrow heads . Find some one who makes arrow heads to get your rocks from for cheap or even free.

Well from the article I just looked at it is also known as polychrome jasper and I had no idea they were the same thing. Say it is found in Madagascar.
