@okamasphere But when there's band run by 1 person other band members become resentful as they feel as thou their voice is not being heard. And they end up breaking up. You say that democratic bands don't always get successful but neither do bands run by one person.

@neosoontoretro Jimi Hendrix? Metallica? John Mayer? I could list more. Don't talk about things you know nothing about. Who says you can't be happy playing in someone elses band and playing their music? Have you heard of a studio musician?

There is a reason why most bands don't take perspective of a democracy. Because most of those bands break up and constantly fued. Its the great bands that have always been run by 1 person. I love Warpaint, but democratic bands don't always get successful like the girls have.

I wonder do the rest of the band ever get tired of Teresa constantly going on about how democratic they are? She brings it up almost every interview.
