Imagine Dragons lead singer Dan Reynolds spoke candidly with Ellen about his divorce, and what it was like to watch his ex-wife play a pivotal role in his new documentary, "Believer."
@@viennejolie4893 Yep. But since she's in the entertainment business, it might work out better. I feel for their kids, divorce is always hardest on them.
Indifferent bastard They have been really private about it. And they still do seem to get along as people. From what he said I guess him being away from home has to do with calling it quits.
Alisky exactly Dan is so busy in his music tours. Dan and his wife aja always used to post I miss him and stuff like that on instagram. 4/5 days before there divorce news came out she had posted a photo of their daughter Gia and Dan captioning 'my everythings' so the main reason for their divorce has to be the distance between them and Dan being busy.
@@viennejolie4893 Yes, it's hard for popular entertainers to stay together with their partner after they have kids. He tried/they tried and I feel so badly for the kids. I'm wondering if she's just a quick rebound. So many men don't like being alone.
I had no idea they were getting divorced. I just wanna give him a big hug. He is such an amazing and talented guy and I love the work he does for the LGBT community.
You are a kind guy hon... I was sad the day i got to know bout your divorce... but yeah stay strong its not your fault... love you... your my favourite singer...❤❤❤
I hate when people assume that other people are gay just because they're supporting the lgbt+ community. And it just so happens that he's divorcing his wife. Coincidence? Who knows? As long as he's supporting the lgbt+ community I'm all for it.
a couple days ago i went to see imagine dragons in concert at madison square garden, and before singing "demons", dan gave a speech about how important it is to get help when going through something. how if you have depression, it doesn't make you broken or weak. he said that he was diagnosed with depression and has a therapist, and there is nothing wrong with asking for help. and now that I watch this and I can feel his heart breaking with every word, i feel that little concert speech of his much more deeply. I love him and the rest of the band; i have been a hardcore fan for years and years and YEARS and though I've never met them they're like family to me. as always sending love to them all, and lots of support to dan during this time❤️
I went to their concert last year for my bday and boy I love them so much. He gave a small speech about depression before he sang Demons and I cried inside of course but that was deep.
I met Dan on a fight from Vegas to Salt Lake just recently he had his kids and Aja with him, He was so gracious and a really good father and super nice guy. big fan of His
@@societydwellingifd8080 considering he just made a documentary about the Mormon church and LGBTQ youth suicide (HBO) of of course he would have come out by now!
@@societydwellingifd8080 He's not gay he doesn't ping my gaydar. However, he is gay friendly/Ally/activist. You don't have to be gay to support the gay community. I think his wife got too much backlash from the Mormon church due to the documentary and couldn't handle the stress.
Marriage is difficult on any level but throw into that months without your spouse by your side or intense scrutiny in the spotlight it would be difficult for any couple to stay together. I feel so sad for both of them but applaud them for their decency and respect for each other.
Can’t he just be my dad😂😍 He’s such a great person and I get so warm in my heart when he is saying that she will forever be his best friend😭❤️ It’s like impossible to not love everything about him, he is such a greeeat guy. And he can do everything! He is the best singer ever!!!!!
Rolling my eyes at all the people pretending to know anything about his divorce. You people are speculating on almost zero information and you aren't helping. No one is entitled to hear why someone else's relationship ended in gritty detail. It's no one's business but theirs, and if they want to keep it private, it's not really the fans' responsibility to fill in the blanks with garbage they made up off of the top of their heads...
