GOTG3 is all about 89P13's journey to become Rocket Roccoon. This is a tribute to Rocket and his backstory. Enjoy the Emotional Rollercoaster! Music: Billie Eilish, Khalid - Lovely
I imagine because a good portion of Nebula was already machine thanks to Thanos. Not much actual flesh and blood left. Rocket still had plenty of flesh and blood to mutilate.
@@ALUCARD-us3ilI still keep forgetting that Thanos actually did torture and made Nebula into a cyborg. Makes him not that sympathetic at all for his motivation to do The Snap.
"So this is what he was watching...what a horribly pained soul."- excerpt from the man watching John Wick cry at his dinner before killing 3 men with a fucking napkin.
This movie almost made me cry 3 times. Rocket became one of my favorites after this movie. Poor guy has been through a lot. I know things will get better for him. Love you, Rocket.
Rocket is and always will be my favorite Guardian/Marvel character in general. This movie solidified Rocket Raccoon as my favorite Marvel character easily. I really want a spin-off of him with the new Guardians and/or other talking animal characters.
I used to joke that Rocket was my spirit animal. A love for guns, a prickish attitude and all the things that everyone loves about him. Then I researched his character. Then I watched Guardians Volume III. Like Rocket, I had someone like Lylla. And like Rocket, I lost her. His story didn't just hit close to home. It kicked down the door. I buried my feelings for years but now like Rocket said, "I'm done running.". I got more therapy out of watching Rocket's story than anything. Love the movie. Love this video.
I’m in a similar position except I lost someone I loved they abandoned me and lost fish and a dog but the only thing is I’m still running I still haven’t recovered from anything
This is the beauty of storytelling. You can relate and see that you're not alone in the vastness of creation. It's cathartic when it's a story well-told that you can relate to. Some are impossibly seemingly tailor-made and it seems to signify that you're not forgotten when you feel as though you are.
@@Idevaughan530unfortunately, when abandoned, it’s a situation where you clearly loved them more than they loved you. If it was a parent, I’m so sorry. That’s not excusable. But if it was a partner, you have to understand people grow apart, or fall out of love, or just don’t ever fall in love with who they are dating. There are others, and you are deserving of love. Don’t ever convince yourself you aren’t, and don’t you dare settle!!! If it was a best friend then this is really tough. My advice to you is to not try and seek out another person like them. It leads to disappointment. This is experience talking. Just know there’s lots of love out there, despite how the media portrays the world. You’re gonna be just fine, and I truly hope you have an amazing life. God bless ❤🙏
“Why didn’t he ever tell us about this?” Because Mantis, one of the ways to deal with past trauma is through repression. When rocket escaped from OrgoCorp, he literally and figuratively ran away from his trauma and his trauma entered his subconscious. From his perspective, he wasn’t trying to hide his past from Groot and eventually the Guardians, but he was supressing the memories to the point where he wouldn’t even know what to say. Rocket is the perfect example of repressed trauma and why people who’ve experienced trauma rarely open up to other people about their trauma.
But that subconscious also developed his mania for tech, weapons, and thievery. All to prepare for the prospect of one day being forced to face the High Evolutionary and win.
there's another point about that: It's a learned thing that's part of our society. Trauma equals weakness. And we've learned to exploit the weakness of others. No matter how much you believe you can trust someone, this someone will, sooner or later, most likely use this weakness against you. Because that's how humans work. We use our chances to exploit others if we can get ahead of someone. We're competetive - and when it comes to the worst, we always try to be in the first place, no matter the cost, no matter how many we will hurt by doing so. Don't believe me? Take a look around. Take a look at the current political situation in ANY country. It's the prime example in every single country. The one's propagating compassion and cooperation are being exploited, laughed at, being pushed down, get destroyed through blatant lies. Homo homini lupus
@@felisasininus1784Given Sean is also his motion placement & his facial expressions, it’s impressive to see how close he was able to get to Cooper’s voice for Rocket & kill it as Kraglin.
@@acidicshow5258 They would say, "Why do other animals try to eat me, except that humans keep me safe indoors?" I would tell them, hush, little buddy. Nature is mean to you. But we love you.
Shit man, people should never forgive us either. The things humans do to each other is worse than what any animal could conceive of. It seems very clear to me that we are among the lowest of lifeforms
So many moments just crushed me during this movie. When baby rocket says “hurts,” when the high evolutionary says insults him and says “you couldn’t figure out that?”, when Rocket screams after Lyla dies, when Floor panics and starts repeating the same thing over and over, when rocket sees the baby raccoons. Ugh I’ve always been an animal lover all my life so I was a mess all the way through.
I am 40 years old. I have avidly consumed written, filmed and game fiction. Yet rarely has a story touched me like this. The "High Evolutionary" and what he did to Rocket and the others however? I bawled my eyes out! There are some things you just do NOT do, to any sentient life you bring into the world. Yet they did.... and BOY, do I hate them for it.
The High Evolutionary is evil written well. Not every villain needs to be someone that was good led astray. He is by all means evil, motivated mainly by his hatred of the imperfect, and holds no empathy for his creations. There's no "I get where he's coming from" moments. He's just irredeemably evil. And frankly that IS realistic. Some people are just monsters.
If ou are 40 years old, you need to collect yourself and fucking deal with the real world. This is an amazing storey arc, but nothing from the CGI fest should send a nominally functioning adulting into a temper tantrum over.
@@PavewayJDAM Bro what? You are making zero fucking sense. what, because its CGI it suddenly loses all emotional value? are only practical effects capable of conveying emotion? And how is being upset at what you admit to be a good story a bad thing? And do you know the fucking difference between a temper tantrum and feeling sad?
I cried multiple times during this movie in theaters 😢 its heart wrenching when you have been treated nearly the same as rocket i understood his pain it was such a great movie
Floor's last words were a panicked plea to her friend to leave with her. She died terrified, begging her friends to go with her. She was a child. A fucking CHILD, and they murdered her like she was nothing. They are worse than nazis and should have suffered far more than they did.
@@CuteSkag2-dw7oz I was thinking that, but at the time of writing that post, I was actually watching the movie and that's how the subtitles wrote her name :p
@@JenryBejaFun Fact: The reason why Rocket says Hurts its a shoutout to Jalen Hurts the QB of Bradley Cooper’s favorite football team the Philadelphia Eagles
I know I'm super late to this, but when it comes to the guardians, Disney accidentally made a family dynamic; or well Gunn did. If only they could recreate this with the Fantastic 4.
@@prestons6876 To me, Gunn is the master of creating real stories. Not everything is life is dark and not everything is life is joy. And in GOTG we saw everyone laugh, cry, feel anger, hatred, despair, shame, sadness, etc. Just like real life. And it´s all Gunn´s expertise. I think in 10 years, Gunn will be appreciated as who he is: One of the best directors of all time.
Rocket : Someday I'm gonna make great machines that fly. And me and my friends are gonna go flying together, into the forever and beautiful sky. That place is Called Heaven 🪽🙏. Rocket you been through so much pain you don't need to hide it anymore you have friends you have a family 😭💔.
That was awesome that it tackled the topic of Heaven in a movie that co-stars a talking animal out of all things. Need more talking animal movies like this badly.
The rocket story is a total reflection of what we as human do with animals perceiving ourselves as highest being yet we use animals as a mere experiments for our own well being. Touching by a story should not be the only thing, we should reflect the learnings in our daily lives.
Quantumania and Multiverse of Madness were huge wasted potentials, but man…Rocket Raccoon’s story of Guardians 3 was absolutely incredible. Marvel could literally redeem themselves if they just focused on outer space, the multiverse, and mainly talking animals. Need a solo spin-off movie on Rocket Raccoon and other animal characters with this level of emotion badly.
I had a hard time with this film. I cried through most of the film see what was done to him. The scene were all his friends died all I wanted to do was hug him and tell him he will be okay. This was the best of all the guardians of the Galaxy films.
it is very good script...very very heart touching. im never been so emotional while im watching GotG movie until this vol.3...., story about rocket is more strong than quil or thanos daughters. so suffering.. this is the best script, im salute with the writers...
Peter's cry of anguis at 1:50 is incredibly painful to watch, for all their jokes and ribbing they give each other, the pain and refusal to give up is something we should all aspire to have in a friend when we're in trouble. That and "ROCKET, TEEFS, FLOOR GO NOW!" just tear my heart apart every single time.
Now knowing rocket's full background story and re-watching the old scenes with Rocket in them hits differently. Yondu was the only one who saw Rocket's real self.
Loyality is just compassion by another name; There are no true "Allies" in friendship, only those who would do anything to see you do well. What sets a friend apart from an ally is the deeper emotional bond between those involved. "My Services are for sale, my loyality is not." - Any Mercenary who is true to himself.
Never watched this before or anything like this and no movie has made me cry but this genuinely broke my heart and even though it’s not real I shed a tear it was very satisfying seeing him get revenge
One of those Guardian of the Galaxy movie is when Rocket Racoon fight to wait for Peter Quill. They could have leave witout quill but Rocket waited no matte what happen.
I watched the first movie in theaters on a date with my Gf for the first time so we like to watch or rewatch the triology for dates and stuff. When we saw rocket after he was experimented on she couldn't stop crying, so much i paused to ask. I was sad, but It wasn't until she made me realize that Hurts was his first word that I started to cry too.
The last time I cried over movies were avengers endgame infinity war no way home dogs purpose and a few other movies but this is the most recent movie I cried over and another movie that made me cry was Toy Story 4
Going into this movie I was very apprehensive because Rocket has been my favorite MCU character and I didn't want to see him die. The impact from hearing his first word "Hurt" sent me into the ugliest cry I've ever had in a theater.
This was so depressing. I watched it in theaters and was like wtf? Apparently the Guardians books are awesome so I need to read them but this jarred me lol
This movie on Shrooms was the best experience in my life. Guardians of the galaxy was definitely made for it. Rocket is my favorite character of all time!
I slowly gained to like rocket over the first and second guardians of the galaxy, haven’t even seen the third yet and watching this video, omg it hit me so hard. Like over the first and second, all I wondered was how traumatized rocket was and now watching this video before the movie, just breaks me as a man. Even I can understand and see how badly treated he was.. poor rocket one of the greatest pals in the movie but acts all tough cause he needs to be to suppress the pain
this movie and last installment of tom holland's spider man are the diamonds in the ruff of marvel's phase 4 basically, this is my head canon end of the marvel universe dont think you cant ever top that
James Gunn safed marvels ass by him self cause all other producers sucked hard You better give this man a budget and competent crew all the way marvel/disney
when quill says im not leaving my best friend that pull on heart strings. he was going down hill himself but he put his problems behind for him doing everything he could !!!!
Creo que este es el mejor video de rocket que he visto!! La selección de escenas es increible, grab trabajo para hacerme llorar a mares por este increible personaje!
There is always thing or people leave behind achieve a great thing in life. It hurt for sure, it is cost you have to pay. Rocket paid a price for lifetime to achieve greatness.
