One of the best builds - which exhaust configuration helps to encapsulate the heat. I think you should be thinking of adding ceramic materials to components to further make more efficient. Congrates!
What temp will your outer shell get to? I have a similar design using 4" threaded pipe and I can only get mine to 350 deg. May have to get a larger burn chamber for mine for a larger fire
hello S.S. I am trying to understand and learn how to make one. I actually can't cuz I'm a disabled 58 yr old woman but maybe I can find someone to make for me. ne Ohio gets cold and I need 1 in my room. I can collect small wood myself. My question is, I was gonna sell an old antique heavy milk can from a dairy farm. I guess 10 gallons or so. @ 32 inches tall. but then thought maybe to cut of bottom and use as heat riser plus how cute is that?!! way better than a big old ugly can? Thanks so much.T.. also the top can come off with some prying.
TMT1473 Great idea. It would be great to work with that milk can. I am always looking for things to make my stoves with. Good luck in your build. Bill said that 😉
