A rocket that struck a soccer field killed at least 12 children and teenagers in Israeli territory in the Golan Heights. Israel blames the Iranian-backed militant group Hezbollah for what it says is the largest attack against its civilians since October 7. NBC News’ Raf Sanchez reports.

Because this is a blatant attack targeting ONLY civilians. Zero military infrastructure there, no military personnel, not a manufacturing plant.... Blatant attack upon civilians. Now, if there were an IDF commander in the crowd, sure, I can see the reasoning behind it, but nope....... That's the difference from the two sides. One understands that civilian casualty is acceptable under specific guidelines, and the other follows their own guidelines of "just target anybody and everybody, we don't care about military targets"

UN only verified 25k total casualties, of those, they did not differentiate between civilian and combatant, so we really don't know how many innocent civilians were killed, a more realistic estimate is probably around 15-20k civilian deaths and 15k hamas deaths

Palestinians have been firing rockets into Israel non-stop through the years. Most rockets never hit their mark. However steadily they have procurred better munitions from allied terrorist groups. Eyewitnesses have claimed that the attack came from the iron dome, but are afraid of their lives for speaking without anonymity. Historically Hezbollah has no shame in claiming their attacks and openly admits their actions - in this case they have denied involvement, which is peculiar if it was them - it is only Israel claiming it was Hezbollah. Also it has been observed that there was a curious and expedient operation to clear the area of schrapnel, which would likely indicate the origins of the weapons.

I am generally supportive of Israel's actions, but this is crossing the limit. I hate the media for ignoring the plight of children on one side and only concerned about the well-being of one side. Heartless people. Literally on the same day, Israel bombed a school, but that is conveniently ignored. I used to not believe that media can be this shameless, but it is true. Children are children on either side, and we must not extend our enmity to children because that would break the human covenant of leaving kids out of it.

Israel conquered the Golan heights in a war that the Arabs started and remained there because for decades the Syrian army bombarded the Israeli communities on the Galilee, from the Golan. Again the Arabs attack first and afterwards play the victim .
