Russ can't shoot 3s. Doesn't set screens. Barely moves at all off ball. That doesn't fit HOU offense. That doesn't compliment Harden at all. Even if he decides to go off ball he just becomes a waste of space on the floor. Harden would be better off ball than Russ but Harden is also better on ball.

If they both check their egos they will be insanely difficult to deal with. We will see what the post season brings for them, but this is a fun move and it can work if they let it and dont get in each other's way.

I hate the trade honestly, you traded a bad contract for a WORSE contract. Then I hate how this league is now, two players get into a bit of a disagreement now and they immediately go to the trading option. You traded a good shooter for a terrible shooter. You traded and amazing passer for a passer who forces passing. You traded someone who shoots acceptably in the clutch for someone who shoots 29% from 3 team up with someone who shoots 40% or better. Now you have two chokers. Great job Houston, another 1st or 2nd round exit on the way. People act like last year Chris Paul didn’t take out the GSW’s by himself while James Harden was out with an injury, Chris Paul is definitely capable of stepping up when the time calls for it. Styles make fights and team matchups make a series. OKC matched up better vs Durantless GSW. And PG‘s shoulder injury did effect his game in playoff performance. When healthy regardless of the coach, Harden and Westbrook are a better duo offensively. Defensively Capela and PJ can help but with the return of Mbah A Moute maybe signing back it can help them a lot.

People underestimate the greatness of Chris Paul Chris Paul had a hamstring injury for the past few years but I believe that he'll come back stronger than ever this season no matter which team he's playing for Chris Paul is still one of the top five point guards in the NBA today even at 34 years old there's no denying that he deserves to be on a championship team or a team competing to go for a championship he just can't stay in OKC it's not the right place for Chris Paul at this time in his career I'm disappointed in the trade and I hope that Chris Paul finds a better basketball home to finish up his extravagant NBA career that he has had that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it 🤔🤔🤔

Pretty equal trade, and the best one of free agency. Paul can tutor the rookies on OKC, and Westbrook can give the Rockets a shot at the title while selling tickets.

You need a team that plays like a team, that is unselfish, and players who have desire to make teammates better. Add excellent defence and thats what Toronto had in 2019. That's a very competitive combination that can win. Too many star duos now. It's the other teammates that will make the difference. If ifs and ands where pots and pans the world would be filled with tinkers. Great defence can limit stars scoring. 2019- 2020 season will have some surprises and many disappointments.
