Is the bass in the fosgate much better then the stock bass?

@@raywright1169 I bought 6 3/4 2-way Component (front) and 6.5 3-way (rear) for my Kia Soul. These speaker's shown in the video sound great but they do lack Bass, excellent for mids and high's. Now the component setup is excellent, full range and so loud I have to fade to the back. I really want to install a set of component speakers in the rear just don't know where I would mount the tweeter. Soon I will have everything running off of my KAC-744 Kenwood 4ch amp (old-school) and the two Prime 10" subwoofers running off the p500x2 amp. Lastly, to answer your question in short no and sorry if repeated myself.. In my opinion these are meant to be paired with a subwoofer. The kia stock paper cone speaker was full range and has hard bass but lacked mids and high's which are mounted in the rear doors. They also are rated at 20watts RMS. Once my setup is completed I will give a updated reply.

You need an amp with 99% aftermarket speakers guys. So many negative reviews about lacking bass. No, your speakers aren’t lacking bass. It’s your 20W RMS headunit lacking power to drive the bigger magnets....

Bubba D I have the same issue edit: it's right despite the color of the wires being wrong. If you look closely above the spades, there are marks for + and -.

put the small spade over the negative and the larger spade over the positive, there problem solved. there is no polarity with wires so it doesn't matter if they are labeled wrong. it will still work the same, as long as you make sure the wire going to positive terminal on the speaker goes to the positive terminal on the amp and same goes for the negative.

Jbl is way better in sound quality and mid bass

it also has to do with the amp he is using. it's a good amp but it does not have very good bass.

Glad you like it! The amp is an LP2020A+ (uses the TA2020 IC) that is capable of 22 watts RMS per channel at 4 ohms. I'm not sure what the peak wattage is though to be honest.

@@User_RahulRajan They are good. Sound is nice. But dont expect a subwoofer performance from it.

it's pretty easy. just build a box or get a box, and cut holes in it for the speakers and holes for your other components and then wire it all up. different stereos and amps have different wiring patterns so just look up a wiring diagram if you aren't sure how to sire everything up, l am sure there are wiring diagrams for basic stuff like that.

Probably the rubber has wo warm up before it starts to flex properly

actually it's a capacitor, and it is a crossover. most people just call it a filtering cap because that is technically what is and does, but it's the absolute basic bare bones type of crossover system since there is only 1 component but it is still the speaker's crossover because it preforms the same purpose of a full on crossover... it's just not as good as a full on crossover.

Just check the RMS power of your amp per channel. They can run fine off of HU power, but they perform better w/ 40-50wrms each. More power never hurts, just set the gains correctly. its a good, versatile speaker for all types of projects.

Kasinova Da Don+ that amp will probably blow them up if you're not careful, they are not high wattage speakers.

it's a capacitor, and it serves as a crossover but it's a really really basic crossover at that. a decent crossover has capacitors, inductors, and resistors.

My friend has these in a Toyota yaris 1 in all 4 doors and 2 p12s in ported box in back and sounds amazing. I'd prefer American bass or jl but Rockford is pretty good

Do you have an amp powering these or do you have just your factory head unit powering them...? I’m willing to bet my 401k that you are not using an amp.
