Casting to my tv to catch up on your videos! Love these finds!! Such sweet treasures! Enjoying my morning coffee to part two here. Cheers and have a good weekend
Many years ago, in August of 1968 & 1973, I was in Nova Scotia for vacations. I knew from reading articles in the Lapidary Journal that agates, amethyst, and other semi-precious stones might be found along the Bay of Fundy, so that's where I did some rockhounding from Digby going east along the Bay as the tide was exiting. Found some interesting stones, including a piece of bloodstone, I think, dark green with red splotches throughout the stone. Enjoyed my trips thru NS both times.
Thanks for watching. I was born in Digby so I know that area well too. hopefully I will get a chance to go back their this summer to do some rockhounding. I've been all over Canada, but something about NS has me captivated. I love it here.
