I like Axl's interaction with Flame in this version. In English, Axl sounds almost a bit eager to kill him. In the Japanese one, he seems to feel bad for him. It comes across as "Sorry, Hyenard. You've been infected by the Maverick Virus and the only thing I can do is make this quick.."
I noticed one thing about Hyenard's voice lines in particular is, in both Japanese and English, they're the same across all 3 encounters. The English version doesn't bother, they just used the same voice clips of his for all of them and called it a day. However, the Japanese version adds an extra touch in them, so his intonation sounds different, depending on the character. He sounds furious at X, excited at Zero and condescending at Axl. All for reasons pretty sure we all know. Don't know about anyone else, but it gives me all the more reason to vote JP on this one. Also, Tornado Debonion's laugh is freaking infectious in JP, in addition to a much more entertaining performance, I love it.
Capcom seems to have one game in each franchise thats bad. In Megaman games, you got X7 and Xover. In Devil may cry series, the 2nd game tends to have the most hate. In Breath of fire, the 6th game is the one people hate most. In Resident evil, its Operation Racoon city. ...Anymore?
Ahh, there we go. That sounds much more natural. Vanishing Gungaroo sounds much cuter, Soldier Stonekong sounds a lot more badass, Tornado Tonion sounds more plesently silly, and even Flame Hyenard sounds far softer. And X is no longer flat, even if he still acts naive.
This dialogue system in the english version is almost like Sonic Adventure dialogue, too cheesy, but when you have/turn on the Japanese version it sounds like you're watching an Anime. By the way, X's voice fits perfectly, better than the X4 voices
HOLY COW! *HYENARD´S VOICE SOUNDS LIKE OBITO* FROM NARUTO SHIPPUDEN!! such a badass voice.. guess they have indeed the same voice actor... the japanese version DO have pretty badass voice actors!!
BURN! BURN TO THE GROUND!!! BURN TO THE GROUND!!! BURN TO THE GROUND!!! BURN TO THE GROUND!!! HEY CAN YOU HEAR ME!!! BURN TO THE GROUND!!! BURN TO THE GROUND!!! HEY CAN YOU HEAR ME!!!
That scene with Hyanard and Axl gave me chills. The scene with him and Crowrang also gave me chills, for a completely different reason. Jangus, Axl actually sounded pretty scary at that point. His voice actress is just...🖐😩👌
i like axl's voice his is dark and i think its the same voice actor as his english they sound so alike and axl's english voice actor is japanese thats why its better in japanese ill look it up
The english voice needs to be synced witg the Japanese voices. The time it takes for them to talk must be the same. So that's why the english voices talk slow and sometimes real fast.
Most of the translation is quite accurate for the boss dialogue as far as I can tell. In particular, for Hyenard, it's pretty much the same, except at the end he says a few extra lines. 「そうだっ!そうだろう!?そうにちがいない!」= "That's right! Isn't that right!? It can't be wrong!"
@@tiohyde3790sadly no, I just feel like I'm hearing the same voice of that admittedly awesome Slime. however, the actress portraying Japanese Axl did voice in other works, such as Child Emperor in One punch man season 2, Taiki in Digimon Xros Wars, Shin'ichi in Astro Boy, Kanade from Symphogear, and even Flippin' ENVY FROM FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST! Love your account name and picture btw, Evolt's one of my favorite KR villains not because of how good at being bad he is, but because of his charm.
@@marcusblackwell6268 yeah, and I only listed a few of her roles. Go to wikipedia and look up Axl's Japanese voice actress to see the full list of her voices.
Although it may not save this truckload of CR4P this va is actually better than the English cast which I don't blame but it's just hysterycal to listen.
despite how poorly made the game was (it really is), because of the soundtrack of the bosses and because of the Japanese acting (Jojo's literally left me with a good taste in my mouth of seeing it) I got to play it
Because japanese games as a whole, took voice direction in their works far more seriously when voiced games started to pop up during the late 90s and early 2000s. It is often the case that, if you pick a game of japanese origin with a dub from the late 90s or early 2000s. Chances are the dub is dubious quality, while the japanese voices a million times more effort. Only Megaman game during the PS1 era that had a un-debatably good dub were the Legends games.
Even if x7 being worst Megaman X games ever(Plus,I know X has depression in this game but he's annoying as hell in this game. Dude act like those anime nerd who think they're on higher place than MC so they can being smart-mouth with it.),Still,Japanese dub sound better. But,Then again,That alone won't save this game from being suck.
How is the Japanese voice acting better? It's even more annoying. Besides how the hell do you all know it's better, you don't even speak the language. Sticky neckbeard weebs.
1) Characters sound more natural rather than the horrendous flat tone or the try hard voices the us version has 2)Just because we don't speak the language, doesn't mean we can't think it's better than the inferior us ver. 3) Crawl back to your mom's basement, westerner
