A change in fashions and a new generation, was probably the cause. Rock Ola sensed this change, and future machines were built with the mechanism, closed in from view. Seeing the disk placed on the turntable, the sound of the mechanism and, the original recording label, is everything. Nothing less would do! These machines, fully refurbished can command huge some of money. Happy days!
