C'mon, Playstation has Marvel games. Why do they need Batman when they already have every single game? I miss the days when whether or not you had a Playstation or XBOX, you could still play whatever game you wanted, and exclusivity was simpler. You used to often ask yourself if you would rather play God of War and Ratchet & Clank? Or would you rather play Halo and Forza? Now, with Sony making every game in existence exclusive to Playstation, everyone has no choice but to buy a Playstation. Not to mention is so goddamn expensive where the only way for you to get one is if you're Mr. Goodman himself. Yea, gaming is no longer interesting anymore, where I still have my XBOX 360 that I still play with and owned for over 10 years.
Well think of it like this. Most of the old guard that gave us the Arkham games are gone now, in it's place is a company that gave us one of the worst Jokers ever, Victoria Freeze, and Deadshot's daughter... ALL of which cost an extra $20 to play as. Rule of probabilities take effect here, and frankly all signs point towards a reboot being lousy. In the event they go through with it, and keep it a Playstation exclusive, I don't think the reboots will be any good. If anything, it'll be yet another reason why not to buy a Playstation.
I'm fine with any company making dc games. If it is PlayStation who buys out Rocksteady I'm just hoping they will make it eventually come to pc like they've done with older exclusive titles.
Only interested for a game like the fabled "Cancelled Arkham game" I want Damian Batman as the main character. I dont want reboots i want it to based off Bruces and Talias relationship in City just like the writers of the cancelled project said. You can include Terry but like the developers said he isnt as interesting a character,and the fact that we already Bruce mourn for Talia would add a lot of complexity into his relationship with Damian,knowing now that she left a son behind before she died etc.It would create a great story I know its unlikely to happen but i am still hoping the project will get revived and improved. I dont know,i just have this feeling cause Suicide Squad fails,then people start talking about that game we could have gotten instead,then we hear Rocksteady will go back to singleplayer and now finally we learn its a Batman game. So it fits Just like when we had Origins,a prequel and then got Knight. The Shadows prequel can be creating the path for a sequel to Knight. And James Gunn himself said Damian is his favourite Robin and that the Arkhamverse isnt done. No reboot,just let this sequel to Knight utterly ERASE Suicide Squad and say it was a dark multiverse thing or something. Give a chance to this character cause he has developed and grown a lot and the writers said they would make him likeable while still keeping the essential characteristics. Who doesnt love growth?
100% agree. The closet thing we’re got for the big S is undefeated and then eventually undefeated genesis. But it actually looks good! However ROCKSTEADY NEEDS TO STOP BEING LAZY TAKE A CHANCE AND GOVE US A COMPETENT SUPERMAN GAME!
I think that would come next, if not by them then by some other studio. I feel if Sony obtain Batman Exclusivity & buy Rocksteady, that would be very interesting, as I believe Sony would greenlight a Superman game as well & try some sort of connected universe this time around
i literally can not imagine a superman game even being remotely fun to play and batman has had his break its been over 8 years since we had a batman game thats a long time for superhero media.
I feel the opposite. I want more Batman games but I expect nothing good from Rocksteady. I also want any future games of theirs to be outside of the Arkhamverse, let it be done with.
Rocksteady is only a name at this point. Majority of the staff that worked on the arkham series has left and I guarantee you it will be filled to the brim with the slop that has infested SS
I want to play as Batman Beyond Batman that would be interesting I love Arkham series,but we need something new,and what happen to Wonder Woman I’m still waiting on that.
@@emeraldphoenix5868Its cool to see other people wanting this game. I have also made a design but i havent finished it. Basically its the trenchcoat batsuit he usually has in the comics when he becomes Batman but in Arkham style,that suit in the comics is meant to combine Ras and Bruces costumes. So i combined Arkham Ras outfit and Arkham Asylum/City Batman batsuit Physical appearance nearly exactly like Bruce but with the green eyes,slightly darker skin like Talia and a bit more lean but just as tall Age wise i would have him at 28-29 years old(presumably conceived on the "night in metropolis)
Ok I like how you point out the Play Station having Spider-Man exclusive but I don’t think just because it has Spider-Man as it’s exclusive doesn’t mean Batman should to cause don’t get me wrong PlayStations are good but at my house I own a Xbox console and I want to be a fan that follows the Arkham Series story and it would suck if Sony bought Batman cause then I won’t be able to play cause of exclusive and not having the proper console, and a note from the end the Suicide Squad’s failure wasn’t because of the console it was all Rocksteady and them not wanting to listen to their fans and just trying anything to make money so there fore it shouldn’t be lock in exclusivity for 1 failure
I want a Batman Beyond game since they're sticking to 1 hero 👀👀 but a Green Arrow game🏹 would be the Easiest to create if we get something other than Batman 👀👀 and we can press different buttons repeatedly to do Black Canary's scream 🎮🔊🔊👀👀
If Sony could aquire rocksteady and have the Arkham verse under their umbrella they could literally put insomniac on the project with rocksteady to make an absolutely killer game
People getting mad that sony will make it a exclusive i bet the game will be a goty contender if sony makes it a exclusive i can guarantee that it will not turn like the sucide squad games and it will eventually release on pc as well
Aside from DC. I would like Microsoft to pick up Midway Games IP from WB. Would love to see a remastered MK collection similar to MvC and other Midway ip’s that aren’t being used by WB.
why cant rocksteady be like insomniac and give us multiple different hero based games??? i know they tried but every attempt failed.. kinda depressing for them
Listen I know people want a Superman game but a Green Arrow game just sounds fire to me. It could have some of the core elements in the Arkham games but I also feel like he’s such a different character that he would be more fun. Plus he’s grounded enough where he won’t feel overpowering like Superman.
if rocksteady are making it, i'll boycott. Rocksteady is not even a fraction of it's former self, and have let sweet baby inc dictate where their last game went. most of those Devs under Rocksteady though the arkhamverse are gone and are at a different studio. i would want that new studio to do it. WB Games and Rocksteady are not the way.
If they finally give us a PlayStation five pro update to the Batman Arkhamknight ( NOT Gotham knights !) from a decade ago, I would be extremely happy at least to see where they would be going with the next one
