Hi Kevy, Great video! My 6s still not arrived! 🙁🙁. But being a clever bloke I have been compensating for the weight difference by tying a length of string to my 6c handle and the other end to a house brick. Job done!! Er.....it does have it's drawbacks however! Um....the brick has hit me in the nuts a few times and the sink pedestal has a few alarming cracks in it and my arm really aches when shaving now. But hey, no pain no gain!! Also think being back on Furlough affecting my sanity!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Stay safe mate and I'll message if and when the 6S turns up. Dave.

Hi Kevy, First use of a Perma sharp blade this evening. 3one6 red razor, proraso green soap & Simpsons X2L Best badger. A great Sunday shave. I just took my time and enjoyed it! I found the Perma sharp blade excellent, it paired well with the 3one6. Stay safe buddy, Dave.

Brilliant shave, Kevy! I knew when you were to town loading your brush,"Oh, Kevy, you're going to be adding water for days!" Most soaps with my water I load 30-45 secs; CK6, 15 secs. You had lather everywhere! Good job! 🤣😂🤣😂 Cheers! -Rob

Very nice shave sir. The Rockwell 6C is a great razor, very smooth. The adjustability with the baseplates make it optional to have an aggressive or smooth shave.

Nice video Kevy! Yes, overloaded that brush. Douglas writes you should load about 10 seconds on the countainer. And that is pretty true 😉

Great shave brother! 💈😉🤙🏼💈 Holy Moly Kevy, that microphone is insanely loud, and extremely sensitive to ambient noise! It can probably pick up the sound of a Tick passing gas! The audio sounds off, in a way… it’s sounds like your shaving in my ear, but with a surround sound system set to MAX! But your obviously further from the mic than it really looks, sounds, or is. If that makes any sense…? I actually had to lower the volume because I normally watch your videos with earphones on. 🔊 🎧 🙉 🎶 😖👂🏼💥

I think once you load the brush the next step should be to go to a bowl and lather up in the bowl adding water as needed to create a station where you go from. If not, trusting a bit to luck that you got it right when you go to the face adding water plus more, then more etc etc. Great shave Kevy. Again. ✅

I loved my 6c when I first bought it very smooth but now I am so used to the weight of the 6s my technique is based around that light touch. Great vid as always 👍

Hi Kevy, Stygian is pronounced "Stidge-ian" and relates to the river Styx separating the living from the dead in the underworld of Greek myth. As in a Stygian gloom, that's why the brush is funereal black. Also as a Cube user, I notice that it adds a lot a thick base layer to the soap which can clog the razor. All the best David

Thank so much for the info and I noticed in the comments you prefer the 6s to the 6c. I mention this as I have found I can buy a 2c for around £23 so I could use my plates with that. The other option is to bit the bullet and go for a 6s. Thank you very much for your help.

Hey Kevy - you made my evening cause I’m quarantined in my daughters condo. Yes I’m afraid I tested positive late last week. And I’m dealing with that shite none of us wanna be part of. Don’t feel all that bad but I sleep a lot. My temper & patience is on “0” it seems & I’m super bored. In other words, you better get going with a lot of shaves right soon 😂😂 clearly I’m kidding - I have no idea how I could contract this that’s the strange part. I got my 6S replated in rhodium and it was definitely a night and day difference as far as the glide. I’ll agree the 6S out of the box doesn’t glide across the face as well compared to other razors.

Great vid Kevy. You were the first RU-vidr I started watching when I first started wet shaving and I’m still watchin after several years and grey hairs as I’m mostly grey too. The 6c is the best I’ve used and it does glide better than stainless. Gotta get that brush, all the brushes I have from PAA are great. Nice shave Kevy💈💈 PAA Cube plus CK-6 equals the slickest soap going...IMO. CK-6 can certainly take some water but makes a beautiful lather. The 6C is a favorite razor of mine, yes it's slicker than the 6S which I also own. PAA overload today, feeling and smelling good in the neighborhood... Great video and commentary. Stay safe and... Great shave. The newer Permasharp laser etched blade does pretty good for me. Someone recently sent me a Permasharp blade that’s etched in old black ink. I’m not sure if it shaves the same as the one in newer labels, but I hope it does have the same quality as the other

51? Ha! Wait until your 68. The only black hair that you have are the ones coming out of your ears and nose. I think I’m going to have to try that cube thingy. I’m using Proraso White Preshave currently and need something I can change it up with. Regarding the frog, I’ve found that if you eat a frog every morning, the rest of the day goes so much better. The only thing is that every one and a while, the frog tries to climb back out. I love my 6S, but I’ve been thinking about taking some Flitz to the guard and the cap to get it to glide better. Maybe a little carnauba wax to make it super slick. If you have a Razorock F400 brush I’d like to see a video with it. I’m thinking of adding it to my 400, but think it might be a touch too big. BTW, the microphones awesome. The only thing is the echo is more prominent. I don’t know how you would fix that, bathrooms tend to reverberate a lot due to all the hard surfaces. We don’t notice it until you record something. It’s an awesome time to be a wet shaver. So much product to choose from and FedEx, UPS and DHL have made the ordering so much more attractive. You’re an awesome RU-vidr. I really appreciate your videos.

Haha! The moment I saw you going at the tub and loading extremely heavy I knew you were going to need a lot of water! Love St Martin's Land smells like lightly spiced Palmolive. You should grind in some menthol (unless you don't like menthol) and try it as a mentholated shave, seriously. Don't eat the soap. 🤣

Rockwell a Kevy’s Favourite haha great choice I sold my actually traded for my WW brush and also my Karve I sold it Kevy yup but I got two timeless razors and will buy another Karve razor can’t be without Karve lol and it’s a great Canadian Company and Chris is awesome guy. I think I must have watched this video on the 6C first, and I haven't seen anyone else using the plastic washers. I assumed it came with them, but now I am thinking they don't and this was your idea. Is that correct? I agree that they seem like a good idea so I ordered some having just ordered a 6C a few days ago. I'm new and really enjoying your videos. Thank you so much for the excellent content and boundless enthusiasm.

I'll have to take your word for anything you say regarding the Rockwell ^C. It's too expensive for me so that's that...And that's all folks...

Great video as always. Why do you often use a plastic/rubber washer? That particular razor (I know for sure) doesn’t come with one.

I Kevy although sadly my 6c didn't last very long I would still say it was a lovely razor to shave with and would totally agree with you when you say they got it right when it comes to the design. Can the Cube be purchased in the UK I have have wanted to try it but buying from the States is expensive due to shipping costs. Excellent video. Keep well and keep safe.

I notice with the 6S that the soap doesnt rinse out as well as my EJDE89 so I have to twist it open a bit. I ordered some Blackship Grooming Christmas Cannons soap and got Stirling's Christmas Eve post shave balm to have ready for December on.

Hi Kevy! Rockwell 6C razors are known to loose their finish (especially the gunmetal ones) after a number of uses. Did you notice any discoloration in your white chrome razor? (I'm interested in buying one but the discoloration matter is a bummer and i can't find any info in the white chrome version)
