Thanks for the 2 updates - THAT's what makes it an outstanding tool review!

Thanks for always coming back to products after time has passed to let us know how their performance continued. Have you used the Ridgid hybrid forced air heater? Anyone with experience comment below

Great review! You sold me on getting The SheetMaster model. The Franklin looks good but not when it breaks slowly with normal usage

Thank you for your honesty I think my Stanley saw horses I purchased from the depot for 32.00 dollars plus tax are sufficient enough they clamp together and only weigh 5.687 lbs

The Rockwell Jaw Horse I brought 15yrs ago is a lot like that Rigid but no pads on the feet, no wheels and the single leg has no base.

Great point not being able to cut length wise.

Is the sheetmaster out of production? Rockwell website says RK9003 can take full 4x8 material, makes sense if they discontinued sheetmaster in this case.

Yes it's unfortunate! I have the RK9000, it's actually brand new but it's been in stock at our local store forever and its urethane jaw pads have rotted. There are no replacements that I can find online so I'll use a medium wearing wood as substitute.

Rockwell owns the patent rights after they hired the designing engineer away from titan.. Any brand other than Rockwell and Titan are licensed copies.. The few bucks saved on a copy just isn't worth it.... Rockwell also has the Jaw-stand which is just as handy

Do you think the Rockwells can replace a vise on a workbench?
@toolrev

Not really, bc a vice has more incremental tightening.

Well done review brother. Thanks for taking the time. Love my OG Rockwell Jawhorse. Even though the same thing can probably happen with the engagement teeth on it it seems to be less prone and better material. I think it would take a lot of foot pressure to do it with the OG Jawhorse. I've also found if you take a small length of 2x4 you can typically use it as a base for things like bench grinders etc. The foot stirrups on the Rockwell is also nice to help give more support if needed. Anyway, qell done. Keep making and fixing things. :)

Yeah, these tools do better when you understand their mechanics. Thanks for the tips. 🍀

Just curious - when will you ever need to cut 1000lbs of wood panels all at once?

If you're talking about the sawhorses I regularly stack them with hundreds of lbs of whatever during renovations to keep from having to pick everything up off the floor.
