I don't think that diana took his love seriously. She thought it was just puppy love and that he was too young to know and understand what LOVE really is. I am in complete tears!! Just painful... I feel so bad for Michael! 😕😟 It just seemed like so much sadness was in his life- Like good grief, he couldnt win!!!! Sadness in his childhood and adolescence, and more sadness in his adult life...and when u truly have feelings for someone IT DOES take forever to get over it- and some don't get over those feelings!! In all the videos I've watched of his career, I never saw him hug anyone else, the same way he hugged Diane (outside of one celebratory hug he gave Quincy Jones when his solo album went #1) ...he FULLY embraced her everytime!!!! His life probably would have been much different if they'd gotten together!
