It's a problem with immature people in general, it's part of growing up learning to take responsibility for yourself and your destiny. Let's not generalise an entire generation based on what "you've heard," there are plenty of responsible and hard working young people out there. Don't buy into the stereotype.

This is the type of mindset you must have to overcome these loses in life. do what you can to keep your self strong and resist as much as you can from having a victim mindset (easier said than done i know) glad you have been able to move on.

Losing my mother in 2003 of cancer of the esophogus and my father of stage 4 liver cancer in 2015 I could've quit multiple times and just ended it there with suicide. But for some reason Im too stubborn to quit. Rocky kinda gives me that nudge that life even though it may be tough and arduous not to give in.

Rockys speech motivates me to never stop movin to where i wanna be in life but there are gonna be disappointments and the trick is to not let the the disappointments make me give up and still keep pushin forward. Why do we love the Rocky franchise so much? The plot is an underdog boxer against multiple goliaths boxers is intriguing but what brings it home is life lessons from the character rocky balboa. I will always love Rocky 3 and 4 but this film the life lesson to his son and the Bill of Rights speech scenes don't make this the worst comeback film in the world.
When I met my girlfriend 16 years ago one of our first times watching a movie together at my place I picked Rocky series and she never had really seen them and watching the first one she was hooked and she chose to watch all of them that night years ago. If she would have said no, I don't want to watch this crappy movie with you I probably would have not called her again after that date. I took her to Rocky Balboa with my father and during this scene where Rocky let's Robert know about owning your actions and not blaming people for your crap. Both my father and girlfriend when I looked over at them they were both crying at the end of the scene where Robert goes to his mothers grave to talk to Rocky. Great movie and it's probably why we are still together. Lol!
There was an even better scene where Paulie lets it all out in the alley beside the restaurant that for some strange reason got left on the cutting room floor. It's on here somewhere, though

Do you think those were real plates he was lifting or prop plates? I'm thinking it has to be prop, otherwise he just did like a 550 lb squat and a 315 lb clean and press. No matter how good shape Stallone is in, there's no way a guy his age could do that.
Had Stallone lost his son at the filming of this movie? I am sure this speech really hurt him not being able to say it to his own son. We love you Rock......
