+Anthony Locante Whenever you're close to knocking someone out, they play the upbeat music to make it more dramatic. So every KO "goes with the music." If you haven't played this game, I strongly recommend it. Best boxing game of its era, by far!
great game. finished it of course years ago back in 2007. damm tommy gunn, he was one difficult guy to beat. don't remember him being so tough in the movie. was tougher than drago to take down.
I would like to see a Rocky game with all the rosters and from 1 through Creed (2015). It could also be a remake and a sequel at the same time. They could use some of the same matches from Rocky (2002) and Legends but with better graphics, improved A.I., and adding more scenes from the films in HD.

I think would be totally cool if one of Tony Duke’s line while he’s talking to Apollo would be “Do you like getting hit? You lost that round! Now, let’s get it together and take the fight to him!”
When I was like 6, my older cousin gave me his Xbox because he was in High school. I had this game on it and madden. Then when I was older, like 8 yrs old, I had the Xbox 360 and played this on it. Now, I have the PS4 and the Xbox One

Alan Tooma I'm not sure if it was just a problem with my version of this game, but I had this and 'Rocky' on ps2 and for some reason this game wouldn't read, the other game was still awesome though and almost identical tbh
@@carterbacalso5852 Maybe it's YOU who's the asshole here. First of all, there's nothing wrong with criticizing something you don't like. Second, no, he won't go make a better game because if you don't know how to do something, you don't just go and do it anyway. And third, there were plenty of other games on the PS2 that took a realistic looking approach and looked considerably better. So the excuse that it looks awful because of the PS2's limits doesn't fly here
one thing I hated about this game is that all the fighters fight the same. same movements same punches. it got boring very quickly. Super punch-out was alot better back in the 80s!
Not too realistic. Apollo would never stand for to toe with Rock. plus, there was hardly any jab at all from Apollo and we know that wouldn't have happened.
