Yeah it’s heavily implied that drago took some kind of performance enhancing drugs. There’s a scene of him getting a needle in his shoulder. Even if he isn’t on steroids or other PED’s his genetics 🧬 already give him a huge advantage. Genetics are a huge factor in sports but it’s not what ppl wanna hear. They wanna hear that anybody can do it. This fight tells a good story tho

Stallone ended up flown on a low-altitude flight to the hospital and remained in intensive care for 4 days. Lundgren had punched him so hard in the chest, Stallone's heart had slammed up against his breastbone. The doctors didn't believe it had happened while filming, they thought he had been in a car crash and took a steering column to the chest. That's how legit strong and terrifying Drago (Lundgren) was!
