I was actually at this game and this never happened!!? Monday Night Football and Christmas!!! We had a really good time 3 weeks later Dallas came back to win the Super bowl in this same stadium !!!!!
Been athletic trainer for 25 years, very first thing that would have been done would have been to secure the c-spine and check vitals. Probably not look over him all confused and start clapping to wake him up LOL.
The issue is that if we use reality into this scene, it would've taken away the spark this movie was giving audience. Remember this film is also meant to be a comedy, that people get to have a fun time watching, not a movie that'll make them feel down or as if there just watching an actual drama movie
Jerry: "there's good doctor on the field". The Doctor: "Blink, Blink, Wake up (and clap), wake up", can your heard me???? Good doctors for sure hahahahahaha.
I know that it's only a video, but when you consider the fact that he could have been really injured and taken off the field this is no laughing matter just like in Hawaii, boxing is banned, like pit bulls are also banned and who banned them were Doctors because it's OK to see someone get injured but it's Doctors who have to save the persons life, but no means is it a laughing matter, this is very serious like now I won't let anyone in my room because the last time I ended up in the hospital and she broke my hip,as I have two pins in my hip, both hips in fact very scary, as I thought that I died.
Look, I *love* this movie. However, being knocked unconscious for several minutes on a football field does *not* in any way incentivize a team to ‘show me the money!’ Just sayin’…
All these years later I still don't get it. So the guy gets a touchdown and dances around. How does that make him a huge new contract or turn Jerry's failing career around?
It wasn't the TD, Tidwell swallowed his ego and became the team's #1 receiver. That's why the other agent tried to steal him before the game even started. Did you watch the whole movie?
@@DAS-Videos I did when it came out, but it's been a long, long time. I guess I'll have to watch it again from the start because your explanation isn't working for me.
@@stuffbenlikes He was only in it for the money and had a huge ego problem, so no NFL team wanted him nor any agents. It wasn't until Jerry hammered it over and over and over about the love of the game and forget the ego and money, and finally Jerry's influence made him see the light and he worked hard on his game without being paid, until he became the #1 receiver and got a large contract.
@@DAS-Videos So the idea is that before he wouldn't have made that catch because he wouldn't risk getting tackled that hard, but now he's showing he's willing to put his body on the line for the team? That makes sense, thank you for helping me understand!
