Written and produced only 10 years after Rod's death, this program premiered at the opening of the permanent Rod Serling Exhibit at the Broome County Performing Arts Center in Rod's hometown of Binghamton, NY.
This short biographical documentary focuses on the full spectrum of Rod's achievements for early television, his commitment to both social and cultural possibilities of the medium, and his deep connection with his hometown.
The video was produced in cooperation with Rod's wife Carol Serling, the Ithaca College School of Communications, CBS Photography in New York and WSKG Public Television in Binghamton. It was narrated by Rod's famed high school drama teacher and life-long friend, Ms. Helen Foley.
