Louie Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World" -- His song was played in all cafes, restaurants, and 'joints in 1956, the year I was discharged from the U.S. Army. Yeah, Rod's singing it now, while I'm typing my thanks to Louie for his song. Every time I hear Louie, he takes me back to 1956!

my mom loved this song so well...it brings her memories about the powerpoint presentation she made in one of her lessons in Science when she was still teaching... nice version of Rod Stewart, not to forget that he's one of my mom's favorite singer.

La version de Lou Armstron es mi favorita pero Rod le puso su sello muy particular y el complemento perfecto fue la harmonica, sencillamente ¡MARAVILLOSA! obviamente sin quitarle meritos a Lou que hizo de esta canciòn un clasico de clasicos que ha roto fronteras y tiempo.

You're right, I confused What A Wonderful World by Louie Armstrong with another song by him. Anyway, music always takes me back to the '50s. Something about the army causes minds to wonder, usually to the long past.
