Could you give me some advice on making the choice between NT1 4th with AI-1 SET and a single NT1 5th since the price of theses two are almost the same. Thank you!
@@lukeviolin Thank you. I have 4 of these now and it does work OK. I think it clips a little low compared to professional recorder preamps, but it works fine for the speaking voice.
Hi Julian, I've noticed that the EIN of -130dBu for the Rode AI-1 is not what is stated on your chart shown in your video reviewing the M-Audio Track Solo and Duo. On that chart the Rode AI-1 has an EIN of around -128.5dBu. Is that number based on a different measurement? Thanks!
Can someone please tell me if I will damage my RE-20 dynamic microphone if I use the interface with the phantom power on. I ask because the AI-1 interface I just got three days ago keeps the light on, indicating the phantom power will not turn off. I should also mention that it did work properly for the first couple of hours the first day I used it. But the next day it would not turn off. The instructions that came with it say the power needs to be off when using a dynamic mic.
I just bought Rode AI 1 and rode NT 1,saly and confusely make some noice....i turn off my air conditioner, little bit decrease the noise.ANd i find what does the other annoying noise comefrom? At last i realize my pc had 6 fan,so the noise from there. I read from amazon review, they had more issue than i do. Please tell me how to repel this anoying noise!
What are you recording that it needs such low noise level? I would advise to get closer to what you're trying to record and turn microphone so the back of it faces the noise that you're trying to reject.
I recently purchased this interface and can say the headphone output is very good. Using a pair of hd 58x headphones 25% volume and it's very loud. So tons of headroom
@@bugeyedmudafuka2 May I ask what is the impedance of your headphones? I saw a post on Reddit that audible noise is present when used with a low impedance headphone like the ath-mx50. I'm going to use it with a 48 ohm headphones and so I'm concerned!
