RODE MICROPHONE NT-USB Broken Mounting UPGRADE ! part 1
Find the parts for sale on
www.ultraflex4...
If you find it hard to separate the plastic from metal part you can drop into boiling water and use care and gloves then lever it off with a butter knife.
Note: you do not drop the microphone into water ! just the ring mount section when removed from the stand and microphone.

Looks like a great product. My mount broke on the first day. Unfortunately, the high price ofshipping it to the U.S. makes this out of reach for me.

Yeah there is untracked postage to the USA etc. BUT, and It's a little disapointing, Many people that went that route decided to ask for a refund for not getting the item. So I stopped offering it. Such is the world of free loaders.

Just installed mine! Yes!! Works great. We can throw away that little metal ring? PS: You should lookup the Rode shop in Taipei - there's only ONE! I bet they'd buy a ton of yours. If you send them an email, most folks in Taipei can at least read English.

I don't know if you're still reading comments, but I can't get the textured bottom part off. It's just force isn't it? I can't get it off with knives or tools.

OK here how it is .. From Australia we have no cheap method of postage . It cost more than double for shipment as AU post does not support export. It is just a profit centre not supporting business at all . If you are in a region where you can sell and I can say that I sell thousands per month And would sell 100 thousands per month If I have distributors around the world . For the SAME shipping price I can send about 50 Items . And you can resale them and make a profit .

yEAH MATE, i MADE 23,000 OF THEM ! and no I have never had a customer tell me they broke it . And yeah one Hyped up individual did run their mic over with an SUV. Mount survived but mic was NO-OP

OF course yes. I have more than 1000 still in stock . If you are over seas (from AU) then you'll be required to order using express postage as transit times for regular postage have recently been in the MONTHS to USA and Canada / EU etc .

Boil it. Easy. Then use gloves and a butter knife.

@@SirrLemon Yeah it's really not that hard . I have several thousand customers who have managed this without resorting to a "torch". I feel you are being a little dramatic about it or are just missing the concept of what you need to do entirely.

one is STL download so you can 3D print . the other is nylon part injection molded.

The "real ones" are made from Nylon 66. You can use any engineering plastic with reasonable results. PLA is not a good option. DLP printers a vastly better. If you use a filament printer then finest layers and resolution on a heated bed with 100% infill will produce a replacement that might last a month.

new plastic bit only requirs the Aluminium threaded lower part and the Microphone .. then think and thin rings are part of the OE set up - a bit awkward
