This is literally the best video I've seen about the NTH-Mic that you can attach to the NTH headphones. I got an RCP2 and just recently got a Duo and really like the idea of the TRRS 3.5mm jack at the front of the unit for gaming headsets. I appreciate you making this video. Thank you, it's very helpful 🙇‍♂️🙏

The microphone is just amazing that price, but perhaps just a little hard in the mid-range frequencies. However, the amazing thing here is how it filters out pop-sounds like T-s, P-s and K-s sounds. I was a bit sceptical regarding this at first, but it sounds very good in this video. The only thing I am missing is no noise cancelling on both the mic and the headphones.

That is a great video, apparently about a great headset. What intrigues me: There is so much reverberation with your NTG and so little with the headset. That's what triggers my GAS right now. How do you record from a TRRS? My interface has XLR and I do not trust the 3,5mm socket at my laptop...

Hi . thank you for review ! Now faced with the choice of headphones. I will use it for movies, games and sometimes I will write reviews for RU-vid. Also important to me is comfort during long-term use. do you think they are suitable for these scenarios? and another question . the price of an additional microphone is $59. for this price, you can, for example, buy such a microphone Fifine A6T. do you think it will be better than the microphone from these Rode headphones ?

If you haven’t pulled the trigger just get the v-moda boom pro. The mic only works with “this headphone” V-moda can be used with any headphone that uses 3.5mm input

Hello, I just bought the NTH-100M to use as a host with the “Rodercaster pro 2”on channel 1, can someone help or advise as to why it isn’t working, the mic specifically isn’t working, if I turn up the fader on channel 1, there’s an unpleasant sound lol, thank you I used the included y adapter to send mic split to XLR channel 1 and headphone split to headphone 1

This is a late reply, but the reason why it wouldn’t work is because of the connection. It’s a TRRS so splitting the signal with the included splitter, into the combo XLR jack wouldn’t work and would probably introduce a lot of noise because of the thin gauge of wire and on the principle that it wasn’t meant to be used that way. This product was meant to be used with the RodeCaster Duo’s TRRS input in the front of that unit or the other interface for headsets that rode sells on their site, which is called the AI-Micro.
