Thanks Vilhelm and Claire! Though sorry for all the popping sounds, I should've worn the headphone while making this video to monitor 😅

Hasaaaaan! Great to see you at work! Great job apart from the plosives, really lots of "B"'s and "P"'s while you were talking. Imho you could maybe include the demo of various pop filters and covers that could be used with the mic. Only positive vibes buddy, keep it up!

Woah thanks Homesick Mac! Good idea, adding it to my list of videos I should make, cheers!

@@HasanNiz Really don't want to be picky about the plosives, but I solved the problem by experimenting with angling the mic in different ways. I'm using a Shure MV7. Cheers! Looking forward to your new videos!

Great video and awesome to point out all the things you need to actually be able to use it. There must be a lot of people who get it and then go “oh no, now I need to buy all this other stuff”

Thanks Claire, exactly, I added that bit because I made that same mistake two years ago when I was first getting into audio & video 😅

I love the sound of the Procaster! It also sounds better than the Shure in my opinion.

Hi,When I activated noise gate, the microphone sound is intermittent for example I say ''Car'' but i listen ''ar''.How can I fix this problem ?(I use voicemeeter to noise gate)
@HasanNiz

Ah the classic problem when using a noise gate, I've experienced so many times, this usually happens when your noise gate is a bit too aggressive, try toning it down? Can you share what noise gate settings you're using?

Am I the only one who feels rode pod casting mics are too bright or shrill.... I like their NT1 line.... And still SM7B or se dynacaster are better

Yea the Procaster is a bit too much sibilant for my liking, but you can always EQ it in post, but I do agree it does have a bit too much of the top end. Thanks for commenting.
