Deity D3 Pro and Rode Wireless Go.........I would love the Wiress 2......got to figure out how to upgrade now. LOL!! There is a place on my new charging wall for it
internal audio on my cannon 90d Im a 14y old photographer getting in to video but currently cant aford it... my insta if u want to check out my work xxkorasanxx
As soon as I saw the email from Rode I jumped to RU-vid. EVERYONE is talking about the new Sony cam (also awesome) but you are the only one with the new Gos! Thanks! 🐾
Dang what a good value! I know it was a gift box but does it ship with the two transmitters? It's good that you remembered to cut away from you 😉 I wonder how well these will do when there is cellular radio interference. That would be cool if you put your phone right next one, called it to see how well these do with interference.
The backup recording feature is a total game changer. Wireless audio used to be too unreliable for me to use for anything else than like RU-vid content.
Seems like multiple transmitters and on board recording has been the standard for a long time. Thinking of SYNCO G1 as atleast one option for half of the price of the Go 2. In that sense the Rode is finally catching up. I think the biggest upgrade by a lot is the 200m range. With that kind of signal strength I wonder if it's become significantly more stable or not.
Now I am left With Dreaming of getting these......👀💯👌🏼they definitely look and sound amazing...Can’t wait to seeing your full review.... Happy Days....👍🏼😉😎
Woahhh what a great upgrade! I'm a young filmmaker from Germany and have always been interested in buying a Rode WiGo but having only one mic always held me back. I probably have to wait until they get cheaper but I would absolutely loooove to win them
dang, they sent you two sets! I have been eyeballing the lark 150 but now I need to wait to see how the reviews go with this one. I would be happy to take that other set off your hands. I do run and gun travel video stuff so it would be perfect, I do interviews a lot too. too bad they don't come with Lav's as well, would be the perfect set.
Ok since you have two full setups I would love to see if it’s possible to have 4 channels running in to your camera using the rode splitter adapter that came out for the wireless go 1.
The go 2 seems like the best budget choice but those rode go lavs just don't sound like 80 bucks. Is there a better sounding lav out there at a similar price?
Love your unboxing, dude! I have always been a fan of Rode microphones and now they have a second iteration with two transmitters. Wow. This is so helpful for all vloggers out there who are worrying about their microphones. Hoping to get the other Rode Wireless Go 2 as your giveaway. Hehe. Love from the Philippines! 🇵🇭
Great video, Sidney. I am so glad I saw this video today. I was planning to order the older Rode wireless go mic. Now, I can order this instead. Although, I might wait for your review on it.
Rode Wireless Go II...the "II" doesn't stand for 2 transmitters...It stands for "2 boxes in the mail". Mystery solved. Now if they only had GPS built-in, then you'd never get lost again. Curious is they've improved on the RF interference/noise, that's my only complaint.
Its a great system, but some DSLR's you're going to get loud RF interference, nothing will fix it. My camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC G7. I spent probably 6-7 hours trying to get rid of the loud buzzing that destroys any usability, and nothing works. Finally called Rode and they told me plain and honest the the Rode Go 2's signal will just wipe out some cameras like mine. I sent mine back. Ordered the Hollyland Lark 150, that with the Rode Go lavalier mike, gets the same quality. Am really hoping it also won't make my camera's audio buzz loudly. Meanwhile am using the Sokani with very good results on UHF channel instead of 2.4GHZ. That frequency can be a problem if you're around professionals on site, so its not ideal, but the Hollyland also uses that frequency. Just hope its better designed and shielded.
Hmm I still think that the Comica Boom X-D is a better value. Don't get me wrong, these sound good, but for a few dollars cheaper you get the two transmitters AND lav mics!
I'm using the Tascam DR-10L, have a preorder in for the Zoom F2. The Rode GO II having two transmitters, makes it much more usable options for weddings I would probably still want a backup though.
Any chance you can do a Line Of Sight test? :) The issue I had with the original Wireless Gos is that they would cut out as soon as the subject turned his back to the camera, walked behind a tree, etc., which made the first-gen version very unreliable in a run & gun environment. I've been using the Filmmaker Kit which is much more reliable, but also significantly bulkier.
For an unboxing I missed you spent a little more time on stock cables included, arround: the box just says 1 x SC5 cabo 3 x (sc20) USB-C cabo but showing exactly what they are would add more than the "wooooow" stuff YTbers must delivery to please their sponsors. Its ok try creat hype, part of the game....but information I asked would add less than one minute and would help.
Just got a GH5 camera and was looking at mic options when I found this video, thanks! Also, I was wondering what brand of office chair that was? it looks comfy, and I need a new one of those, too! xD
Surprised that they didn't send you a black set and a white set if they were going to send you two. Matter of fact, a mix matched set would be good for wedding shooters. Then they can mic the bride and groom and not be distracting.
is it possible to mix 3 channels at once? i think i need these because my audio is so bad, the viewers can only hear the sound effects and not my voice =(
A "Line-input" would have been nice in the age of streaming. I'm assuming they'll release a "GO-Pro" version at some point in time. It's great though...✌🏾
great video man ! i have a videomic ntg, but since i'm going to make some interviews, i'm interesting about a second videomic ntg, to use them both with the wireless goII, do you want to sell the second wireless go 2 ? :D
How do you compare this to the Saramonic wireless system? For awhile Saramonic was the only one that offered dual mics. I guess Rode decided to become more competitive.
