Thanks for that video, I enjoyed that thanx. Hunting in the good old UK is quite different to NZ Fallow deer which are our smallest deer and are generaly harder to stalk. First time I've seen a neck shot here on RU-vid. I have often thought about one those, I might try one if a deer presents that way next time I'm out. By the way, it was great to hear you mension about the fall of the land and the good back stop for a safe shot.
@@hunt.m.ragless5565 In Germany, the animal has to stand wide so that you can shoot at the target. When you shoot in front of you, you destroy the intestines, digestive juices come out and you can throw away the meat.
Traditional it’s a broad side front shoulder shot , but not every deer stands broad side and with experience you can read the deers movement and on this stalk it was to take a high neck shot
@@hunt.m.ragless5565 Moderator covers are mainly to dissipate the heat and mirage . Although it does dampen knocks and bumps it’s still stupid to have a sticker on the stock regardless.
sniper shooting using a scope at that close range, are you not ashamed ?? better and more interesting if you use nets only or use mouse glue or snares 🙏🤗🙏
