Thanks for the review and going hands on - A few items for those checking out the there review 1. The sensor is the current high spec 42K ROG AimPoint with with < 1% deviation 2. We offer three modes of control for the mouse. Armoury Crate, Armoury Crate Gear ( a peripheral only software suite ) and hardware level control 3. The mouse is TriMode ( USB-C , Blueooth and Low Latency 2.4GHz wireless ) 4. The mouse comes include with USB adapter extender, secondary set of skates/mouse feet 5. The RGB is not purely aesthetic and can be used for a visual indicator of battery life 6. The mouse supports our ROG OMNI features meaning low latency dual connections with compatible ASUS keyboards SCOPE II series, Falchion and others 7. The primary left and right buttons are PBT for superior resistance overtime to wear and sheen 8. ROG micro switches are binned for gram force deviation consistency with a tolerance of +_ 5g there are also rated to an ultra high standard 100 million click
The mould is so coarse that the you can easily tuck your fingernail into the side skirt(check 1:14) The grip on both sides and the texture of the main clicks are soooo disgusting. Main clicks are light but unlike GPX1, they are lack of tactile, feels flat and cheap. I don't know why so many reviewers tend to skip all these flaws. Sure ROG is ditching some of their "design" thing and making their new mice more practical to competitive scene. But still ROG has more unnecessary stuffs to take away from the Harpe Ace and Keris II Ace like the stupid grip and PBT click plate.
i have this mouse and is very very good, i'ts better than my previous razer deathadder v3 pro, but the price it's a bit too high and the software is terrible.
