Do you have some accessory on your final mouse? I feel like the portion that something plugs in, is extended in some way. Edit: I saw in another comment the link. I am now just wondering how it holds up, and if it seems safe in every way to the ulx. Also, did you pair it with any other cable, or just the cable it came with?
Not that I am defending final mouse or anything, but isn’t the build quality on it supposed to be flexible? It’s durable, but that’s doesn’t necessarily mean that it must be “rock-solid”.
Don’t think I ever said “rock solid.” I have a video coming out at some point talking about my ULX and Finalmouse in general. However, yes, it’s probably the most flimsy feeling mouse I own.
I ordered the mini cus I wanted that purple and I’m not the biggest fan of the fabulous beasts collab ones, I’ve been using the g pro x for awhile now so hoping the mini isn’t too small
Hello! I am thinking about ordering the mini, how do you like the size? I current use a Glorious Model O- which is a small mouse. Just not sure if the Beast X mini will be too small. Thanks!
@@jakenuss22 it’s quite a small mouse like compared to most others, not quite sure how small the model o- is but I like the mouse a lot, only took about a day of use to like fully adjust to the size and I haven’t had any issues gripping the mouse comfortably so I’d definitely recommend it if you wanna give it a try.
How the hell did you break the hsk? i put a 5kg dumbel on top and it didnt break and a 20kg on the side and it was perfectly fine. How the hell are you gripping your mice to break it? That´s wild. Or you should look into a carerr as a Bouldering guy. i swear your grip strengh seems amazing. This is not meant as an attack it is just really wild to me how in a real world situation the HSK would ever break. it might catch fire but braking?
To be fair, my pinch test Isn’t a real world scenario. I plan on making a video about all the different ways I test mice when reviewing them, but it’s just a really intense stress test that could indicate how it will hold up over time. Yeah I pretty much crushed my HSK. I want to actually test my grip strength but I used to work in landscaping for a bit and then I was a dough maker at a pizza place for a few years. All grip intensive jobs so that’s probably why. I also have bigger hands so it fit into my palm very easily so it was kind of worst case scenario for that mouse.

only con is that they have stopped producing the og beastx since they have noone to work on the firmware so it will not get any more updates. The new beastx will release soon though that will have a much better firmware and updates in the future.
I mentioned it, however my information was wrong. I said the battery life is very similar, however my ULX came with 2khz enabled. With both mice at 1khz polling rate, the ULX has the superior battery life.
Weight, internals are better (click latency figures and such), clicks are pretty poor on the X2V2 when compared to these two mice. I have a video coming out within the month talking about the X2v2 so if you’re interested in some more detail, check that out. To spoil it a little bit, I had a batch 2 X2 that was riddled with QC issues and that really hurt my view of Pulsar, but the X2V2 is surprisingly good and I use it quite a lot. It’s a good mouse, but I feel it’s just worse when compared to these two mice. But this is like comparing a Honda Civic to an Audi or Mercedes and explaining why they are better.
@@sm_leshyy interesting. I'm considering a Pulsar since my U2 is unusable (side buttons to big and low) so I'm returning it. Pulsar is the last option left on Amazon before I get into unreturnable mice so I was thinking of giving them a shot but now I'm not sure. It's tough especially with shape and QC, like I like the XM2we but it's a bit aggressive and a hair too wide but Pulsar seems like they might be too flat sided? Have you tried a vxe R1? I have one of those and it's extremely flat sided so if Pulsar is close to that I might avoid but idk. Some curve would be nice
@@Defury8285 I agree a lot with the XM2we take. My two favorite claw grip mice back in the at was the Zowie S2 and the XM2we, which the x2 is kind of similar to both. It’s a fantastic mouse and the sides can feel a tad bit flat, but it’s still way more curved than like a GPX or something. I think it’s worth giving a shot.
@@Defury8285the VXE R1 is super close to the X2 shape, flat sides and the slope are similar, super similar. I loved my R1 pro but sold it as it felt too mediocre for me and I prefer the X2 mini shape instead of the medium one (the r1 is closer to the medium)
I would like to speak on behalf of us with small hands finding mice for us, used to be impossible now we got a few options but they are always signature editions and shit. Besides pulsar who is on the money. Sorry for incoherent rant gg
I don't think you should be spending 200 usd on a mouse regardles of the build quality, weight or shape. And giving that ULX is such a non QC contol mouse is just mindblowing for me. Giving that Beast X is direct clone of the finalmouse it is no brainer to buy the best X. Respect your wallet. Good review, really enjoyed that one
@@kami3449 Yes, but for a mouse like ULX, that clearly is not perfect, is not a great deal tho. Finalmouse Tenz was way better because of better build quality. Shape is the same. It was just a better deal. Plus lighter (when we go to the 40-30 grams category) is not going to make you play better by a lot. But yes, buy whatever you want tho.
@SebiX-fp2ux No such thing as a "perfect" mouse regardless of what brand it's from. I've had issues with razer, logitech, glorious, finalmouse, WL, cooler master, steel series, zowie, and the list goes on. If anything, it took my last finalmouse 1500 hours of play time before it started have double click issue while other brands I had issue between the 250-500 hours mark. If someone buys something regardless of how much money it costs, if its a good deal to them, then no one else's opinion should matter since its their spent money, not yours.
@@kami3449 I mean that ULX is not perfect out of the box when it comes to the quality control. And nothing last forever tho. Mouse with quality problems out of the box should not cost that much. I wasn't talking about shape, clics, etc.These are personal things. You can buy better build mice for lower price. Thats why it is better to buy BeastX than finalmouse for some people who just want to have a good experience and not to take a gamble for the QC casino.
@SebiX-fp2ux I haven't had a single problem with my ULX so far, yet i have had issues with my WL medium from their first batch before they made changes to it. As I said it doesnt matter where you get your mouse from you can always have issues from any brand.
Weight balancing should do 2 things: be centered around the sensor and centered around the mouse glides. With the ULX thats exactly whats happening. So I dont really see the problem with that. It is not at all "back heavy" or anything. You can literally place it on one finger right in the middle and it is perfectly balanced. Second of all: whats the most important thing besides weight for any gaming mice? Latency. ULX has the lowest latency out of any wireless mouse out there. Bottons are great, scroll wheel as well as side buttons are decent and the mouse is not just 2 stripes of material feeling awkward in your hand. Yes the build quality needs improvement but that doesnt impact using the mouse while gaming at all. And last but not least you might wanna learn how to read things correctly... You even showed it on your screen and corrected yourself but it was still wrong. Finalmouse doesnt claim that the ULX is a third stronger than the Starlight. The material is a third stronger IN STRENGH TO WEIGHT RATIO. That means if the ULX would have the same weight as the Starlight series (so around 50g) it would be a third stronger. I know it can be hard but if you do a review and compare things, get your information straight...
I appreciate you keeping my info in check! For one thing, everything it talk about is going to be on my specific copies and for my specific experience. My copy is back heavy. It’s immediately noticeable. Second, latency will never be a big focus for my reviews, because at this level, differences in this level is negligible. We are talking the difference between microseconds. Is there a difference? Yes. Can’t deny that. Is anyone ever going to notice it? No. Not in the slightest. I have a video coming out about 4k polling rate that will touch on latency a lot, but for right now, I really appreciate you asking questions and arguing with the video. I think it’s important to not take things at face value and to rip them apart and be skeptical. With that being said, I’m not so proud of how this video came out. This was my first video back since 2020 that I genuinely put effort into and I focused more on the quality than I did the actual content of the video, for that, I apologize. From now on, I’ll start a video with a day of research to get some notes together so I have all the facts right, and then I’ll start making the video. Thank you!
@@sm_leshyy Sounds good. As for myself I can only talk about the small version (cheetah) of the ULX. I have similar problems in terms of build quility but not as noticable as your version. Maybe its from an older batch? And I really hope they improve on that in the future. But in my personal opinion the video didnt pay the respect to the ULX it deserves, which is why I left the comment. I really appreciate the mouse for what it is but it is far from perfect. And of course anyone can like other mice more or have other demands/preferences on a mouse.
@@Timothy1704I have the Lion version, or whatever the medium size is, so maybe thats the difference. I really want to get my hands on a cheetah but I dont want to pay scalper prices again. It seems the cheetah is the better mouse from what some reviewers say, but I was a bit worried that the mouse would be too small for me, which I no longer think would be the case. Maybe I'll check that one out!

@@Strand0 Its SUPPOSED to be 8k, but as far as I can see I dont think they've rolled out the firmware update for that to work yet, so for the time being, its 4k.
I woudn´t say specs are better but shape is something I can get behind. FM is way better on convinience. Clicks are way better on the FM in my opinion. Program win for FM. Shape way better on WL. Shell integretie WL.
